Mburmy:
Pretty good, I agree with Portland and Charlotte if there have to be two more teams, but why the insistence on eight divisions of four? It's not nice. I'd rather have four clunky divisions of eight than eight divisions of four.
AMERICAN LEAGUE
Expansion Circuit
Los Angeles, Portland, Oakland, Seattle, Texas, Toronto, Charlotte, Tampa Bay
Charter Circuit
Baltimore, Boston, New York, , Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Minnesota, Kansas City
NATIONAL LEAGUE
Expansion Circuit
Colorado, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Houston, Arizona, Washington, Miami
Charter Circuit
Chicago, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh
Wouldn't Oakland be part of the Charter Circuit as they started as the Philadelphia A's

Wisconsin and Iowa will be placed in separate divisions beginning in the 2011 Season.
Which one gets Minnesota?
I've also heard they are thinking about putting Michigan and Ohio State in seperate divisions for the payoff of the Big Ten Championship
Which makes me think they may be going with a North South Alignment

Closest thing to a font I have is Impact. But it's not close enough.
From Independence High School , 1989-1990...
The Broncos below is the same font as the Patriots'.. (from pro tuff website) They don't have the Patriots which is odd, considering they have the Broncos'. I'm hoping to recreate the Patriots with the right font.
Bumping this up, because i'm curious

I wouldn't be suprised if the Big 10 justifies their name by saying something like, "all of our schools are 10 out of 10s!"
Other than Michigan it's true.
Yes with RRod, we shall be 5 out of 10 until he is fired. OSU on the other hand will still be 0 for in my eyes
You know the trash talk will continue until one of us dies lol
Who are you trying to kid? We both know this will carry over into the afterlife.
I'll be sure to visit your grave in 40-50 years and place U of M sticker on your tombstone, that way there the trash talk will be there, after that, visit me as a ghost with a OSU jersey on.

I think BYU and Utah would be perfect candidates, that and UNLV would be perfect to join the Pac-11 and make it the Pacific 14. If I were the Big XII, i'd go for teams like Houston, TCU and Rice as they'd be perfect geographical partners

Kansas City TV Network says Texas/Texas A&M to Big Ten, OU to SEC, OK State to Pac 10
This is probably a huge rumor that will not happen, but very interesting

Where will the PAC 10 and Big 10 championship games be Jerry World?, Rose Bowl?, Lucas Oil?, Lambeau?
I predict the PAC 10 title games could be at the Rose Bowl, Jerry World aka Cowboys Stadium (if the texas schools decide to join), Qwest Field, the new Santa Clara Stadium the Niners will build.
As for the Big 10, Lucas Oil (durr), Soldier Field, The Horseshoe, Ford Field, Lambeau.... haha I'm just throwing wild guesses but wouldn't be surprised if they were selected.
I would add University of Phoenix Stadium with the Pacific 16 as well as the rest

Nebraska could be lone Big Ten expansion
It's in the Colorado moving to the Pac-10, but in the bottom it says a source is saying Nebraska could be the only one moving to the Big Ten. Lets hope this isn't true and Notre Dame goes in the Big Ten as well.

Are those cheerleaders or Hooters waitresses?

Not the best picture of the helmet, but it's the only clear picture of the helmet. Does anyone know the font?

Trying to get this back on track, here's some of my ideas for a realigned NBA.
Now that's funny.
agreed, although what's funnier is his idea for the first round. 2 games, total points?
You actually read it?
Just saw the playoffs and thinking wtf

Please do, The Big Ten will expand and when they do it will be a big name. I am thinking it will be either Pitt, Texas or Notre Dame to be in the mix. As far as your "Pac 11" theory. If and when the Pacific 10 expands, they will not be looking at Texas, they will go with Idaho/Boise State, Nevada/UNLV or BYU/Utah. I've even heard of rumors of Colorado/Colorado State. Just so they can have a travel partner. Please stop trying to sound like a know it all. I know this is a board with opinions, but seriously.
Not to burst your bubble but Idaho, Boise State, UNLV, Nevada, Colorado State & BYU will never be admitted to the Pac-10. I can guarantee that. Colorado & Utah probably to maybe.
Gary, like me likes to rip spammy, especially outside of his Concepts since he stretches the truth constantly. All of this is not Big Ten relates, but the Pac 10 will try to expand, but their new commissioner needs to realize that they cannot gain a better contract due to the fact that they cannot start earlier than the SEC on CBS gave, and east coast vierers have already made their choices.
(I love my UM girl Tracy Wolfson, but Andrea Joyce had a 4.0 every semester thus was an Angell Scholar at UM.)
Right now the Pac-10 are grasping straws. No network, and with an east coast bias with many. Add the fact the MECHANICAL and WAC are becoming better networks, the Pac needs to do something. DJ, this is something I've heard from others in the media where the Pac-10 is looking forward to expansion, just for extra revenue and exposure. They are looking for teams with travel teams that would join their conference. I personally would want them to hold off on expansion for at least 5 years, focus on bettering the conference in whole and focus getting a Pac-10 Network at some point the next couple years.
-
I want no part of this. Nothing against the Big Ten whatsoever, but I like seeing teams in my region on a regular basis. I have friends and family etc. that have ties to Tech, Baylor, Gigem U and so on. I know the almighty dollar rules all in college football (hell, in life period), but the backlash UT would get due to this decision would make the powers that be rethink it. Leave it alone.
Then what about the Pac-10? Every year, UT would play Sooner and the Corps, but just replace Baylor and Texas State with Purdue and Indiana. The Purdue game would be great so we could see who REALLY has the World's Biggest Snare Drum! That intrigues me.
Hey, where's "spammy" with all his inside information since he works directly with a D-1 athletic director? ]
Guys, the Big Ten is not going to expand, period. The whole conference would have to vote on it, its just not happening. If it did, however, Missouri or Iowa State would be added, just because of geographical location. Texas will stay in the Big 12, and if Texas were to leave, the would join the PAC 11. Thats really all I have to say on this...

Mark Grace
Wrong position too.
I will give you that, but with the understanding he probably had as much of an impact with the 'Backs as he did with the Cubs, unlike the majority if not ALL the other entrants in this thread.
I disagree.
He was at the tail end of his career when he left Chicago, and if Arizona doesn't win it all in 2001, Gracey is only remembered as a Cub.
Well your statement hinges on the word, "if," doesn't it? They DID and it's cemented as such.
Yes they did, but Grace will be remembered as a Cub when he goes into the Hall of Fame. But the last decade he has been a Diamondback as a player and as their commentator on FS Arizona.
