  4. Nice concept! The claw marks on the numbers remind me of the numbers on the old Port Huron Border Cats jerseys:
  5. Indians acquire Andrew Miller for prospects Tribe also trades for Jonathan Lucroy (pending his approval) Wow, Cleveland's been busy on deadline day.
  6. Detroit Lions: Continue to stumble along as an also-ran franchise. Make the playoffs now and then, but no Super Bowls. Detroit Tigers: Remain the top team in the AL Central for several more years, making it to 2 more World Series, winning once. Detroit Red Wings: Franchise continues descent to middle-of-pack team as rebuild/"We like this team, as is.." continues. No Stanley Cups, but the playoff streak continues. Detroit Pistons: Pistons get even worse the first few years as the rebuild continues, but they should be back on track by 2018. CMU Football: Dan Enos fired as coach as program continues to stumble. Port Huron: McMorran Arena is renovated, and Port Huron gets yet another hockey team, this time in the USHL. Arena football comes and goes. Saginaw Spirit: Win their first OHL championship. Pittsburgh Steelers: Two more Super Bowl appearances, winning once. Toronto Maple Leafs: Make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, but lose.

  8. Joe Nathan was a "Tiger Killer" during his days in Minnesota. Much to Tigers fans' chagrin, he still is a "Tiger Killer".

  9. Really should have updated this a long time ago. Haven't been to a Komets game in nearly two years!

  10. http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Hockey/NHL/Phoenix/2012/07/29/20040851.html Of course he's $20 million short...
  11. Found this on eBay, a 1996-97 Saginaw Lumber Kings home jersey, for $29.99. The Lumber Kings were Saginaw's last pro hockey team before the Spirit arrived. The team moved to Saginaw from Chatham and were the Saginaw Wheels for two seasons (1994-96), the Lumber Kings for two seasons (1996-98) and then the Gears for 1 1/2 years (1998-2000, moved to Ohio in December 1999). The Lumber Kings were pretty awful, but I'm glad I found this jersey.
  12. I've been looking for a Rangers "Lady Liberty" jersey (preferably the blue version) lately. Thought I found one at teamdepot.com, but they were all out.
  13. Four new banners at Wings Stadium this year. Two banners for the Canucks and Devils, a Northern Division Champions banner and an Eastern Conference Champions banner. BTW, it took about half of the first period to unroll the championship banners!
  14. A few minor league rafter banners: 1. McMorran Arena in Port Huron Here are the Silver Stick Tournament Banners that hang up in the east endzone: Here are retired/honored numbers from the original Port Huron Flags: (These were retired by the Border Cats, Beacons, Flags II and Icehawks, but I believe are just honored numbers with the Fighting Falcons. I'd like to see banners for the Flags' 3 Turner Cups, but I'm glad they kept the numbers up.) 2. Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo Championship Banners (2 Turner Cups, 1 Colonial Cup), affiliate banners, and various division/conference title banners in the corner. 3. Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne Retired Numbers and Turner Cup Banner:
  15. Very nice. Maybe it's the picture (or just me ), but it looks like there are stripes across the front.
  16. $18 for shipping?! I'd expect a jersey to be personally delivered to me by the seller for that price.
  17. I've wanted an Iowa Stars jersey for a couple years, and found one for $49.99 at River City Sports.
  18. I used to have a Mitchell and Ness Colorado Rockies (NHL) jersey, but sold it a couple years ago because it never fit too well. I searched for another M&N Rockies jersey for a couple years until I bought a CCM model a few weeks ago. As for my current "white whales"... 2009-10 Flint Generals jersey Detroit Vipers game-worn 1998-99 Saginaw Gears throwback (from the Lumber Kings "Gears Reunion Night") California Golden Seals jersey
