It fails to mention Virginia legislature preventing Va Tech from leaving if Virginia isn't taken by the Big Ten. That could throw a wrench in the plans, from the SEC standpoint at least.
I don't think they will step in. They may kill both if they do.

Not bad. Only change that I would make is switch Miami to the Big12 instead of UCF. Fox really likes Miami. Miami is one of the strangest beasts in sports. No one shows up but everyone watches on TV. Miami vs Texas and Oklahoma has ratings potential for Fox. Plus they would like to own FSU vs Miami. Another ratings draw.

Gene Williams, the head of Warchant.com, has said that FSU and SEC are talking. He says it is a "is there any way to fit us in?" type deal. And if the SEC says no, Big12 time. It could happen. Saban wants FSU bad.
Oh, Dot Com. Floating rumors to get subscribers as always. Warchant has gone way, way, way down hill. They hit the bottom of the valley and started digging.
I'm not saying that this won't happen just that I don't trust Gene one bit. He's got a few nice people under him, and at least one good writer, but he's killing the site and has been for years.
He is actually pretty quick to shoot down expansion rumors. You could be right. At least other people have been agreeing with him. We will see. Personally I think it is a "We are about to move. You sure you can't find room?" type deal.

The Big East as we know it is dead.
This will give FSU a reason to leave without feeling like they destroyed the ACC. The ACC gets their UConn.

Nothing new here that we didn't already know. It is an interesting read. UC emails reveal ACC dilemma.
-
It could mean so many things but it means absolutely nothing.
I hope. I think so, too. CFB is full of liars.
-
The ACC gave a "we are united" speech today. That could mean so many things. The Big East gave a statement like that before so who knows? Not like a GOR was signed.
-
The ACC's key to success isn't fending off the other conferences. It's making Notre Dame as happy as possible.
ND is already happy. The ACC gave them a sweet deal. That isn't the key. The only way for the ACC to survive is for ND to be a full time member.

He might be dead on. I would think that he is a connected man.

The Big10 is not done. I think the SEC shares this vision.

also is the sun belt going to replace fau and middle tennesse ? if so who do they get? more dominios to fall even at the lower ends....
Yeah, it all trickles down. Changing conferences isn't taboo anymore. It's old hat. I don't know why so many people find it hard to believe. NWO, it's starting.

So this morning we had a concrete radio station (KTCK) and host (Craig Miller) in Dallas which the timeline was "something this week" and this afternoon we have a unnamed Tampa station and uncredited host with a claim of an action occurring next week.
Everything is TIFWIW. It is interesting that FSU always comes up. Interesting that they didn't want the buyout increase. Interesting that Maryland left the "stable" ACC. Interesting that FSU has money issues. Interesting that UF makes more than double FSU. Interesting that Fox is making a CFB push.

I know it is all smoke but this smoke is thick. It hasn't been this thick since before A&M/Mizzou left or before Nebraska and Colorado left. The ACC being picked a part is not done. The Dude did not create all of this.

The things im hearing. Not one thing from twitter. I think FSU bolts before December ends.
Any sources? Just because it isnt twitter doesn't mean your source is any more credible.
Lol, I know. TIFWIW. Don't take it for gold. Just my prediction. The source is nothing more than a friend. Again, just face value it.
Oh, because you said something like "what I'm hearing". That is a bit misleading, especially with the now-debunked rumor of Georgia Tech and Virginia announcment yesterday.
Well, I did just post an interesting link.

Now Dallas radio just said something juicy.

Here is a tidbit on Barron's talk to FSU boosters today.
"He was very impressive and clearly focused on our academics. He did a great job. He did get one question on the ACC. He made it clear that there is a lot of nonsense on the boards and he called out the dude from WVU as being someone who is throwing out stories for his blog.
On the other hand, he made it clear that he studies all of this, he is in constant contact with "various presidents", and make no mistake - he is watching out for FSU and only FSU. To be blunt, he is all over this. Then he says cryptically that he thinks there will be changes. But he would say no more."
I'm telling you, the ACC is far from stable. I also don't think this is all a figment of a tweeter's imagination. Too much movement has been going on for us to continue to be oblivious to the master plan.
I really want FSU to stay so that the Big XII will collapse and enjoy the Louisville-FSU match-ups in the future. The "Dude" is just a WVU fan who is butt-hurt about Louisville's admittance to the ACC and how the ACC used academics to deny WVU from entering the conference. He's using rumors to get revenge on the ACC who didn't allow WVU and their "hillbillies" (How my fellow Cardinal fans call WVU fans) from entering the ACC. FSU is just better off staying in the ACC rather than risking their program's future in the Big XII.
Well, you know he basically said there that "The Dude" throws a lot of crap on the wall and hope somethings sticks and he isn't legit............but he may be right on something here.

He just posted this.

On Friday I tweeted a report about Georgia Tech and Virginia, which turned out to be inaccurate -- for the time being. I can only offer my apologies to the people I misled. Changes in the ACC are on the cusp of fruition, but today is not that day.
The reality is that NCAA conference realignment is one of the more complex issues today in sports. Powerful people inside various universities have certain agendas. My sources, no matter how influential and credible they may be, indeed were not enough to run with a story of this magnitude. I found out the hard way.
I vow to not be defined by this error in judgment and look forward to interacting with all of you through various media platforms.

Like I said, I don't know why anyone else would try to move until the Maryland suit is over.

I don't think it matters. Both will end up somewhere. But yeah, I do think that can get out of it.
