  1. Of course the rams will. He has the money to do it.
  2. Yup, I agree. I strongly feel the Raiders will be playing in Kroenkes new stadium with the Rams.
  3. owners meeting is this week. You should get a pretty good idea of what's going on here shortly. I heard a couple of interesting interviews yesterday on the radio. The rams are gone. Pencil it in. No mystery. They are LA bound. its not official but like the guy from St Louis said what more do you need? How many more signs do you need? Anyone else saying otherwise are in total denial. The interest comes from the Raiders vs the Chargers. From the sounds of the San Diego guy, the city really wants to work with the Chargers. If I were a betting man I would say Raiders and rams in LA and San Diego stays put.
  4. I just started using this site on a phone a few months ago. Of course its different from the pc version. There is a check mark in the upper right corner of every post. I always assumed that was the "like" button. I was thinking about it and I hope that is not the report button. If so, I'm sorry for the silly reports. Clearly I meant to like them.
  5. as Khan said when he first got here, make the product better. Make the game day experience better. Don't scare people to go with blackouts. Make them want to go no matter what the team's record is. He spent his cash and he did that. 13th in the league in attendance and up 10 to 15 spots in the revenue. if you think the Jags are going somewhere, you are misinformed on the situations.
  6. Birmingham will never have a NFL team. Too much competition from Bama and Auburn.
  7. Yep. The Raiders have a huge Hispanic fanbase, and they have that "renegade franchise" aura. Both of which would fit San Antonio (large Hispanic population and being the third NFL team in Texas). I like it that the Spurs are silver and black as well. It helps my personal perception that the Raiders fit.
  8. Not counting California cities, San Antonio is the only other vacant city that would keep that Raiders feel. IMO, anyway.
  9. So Stan will build it with two teams in mind. Two home locket rooms and two owner suites. The Rams are there. Who will be their Kidman in this Far and Away race? Who will help plant the flag? I'm thinking Raiders.
  10. Yeah, I just don't see how the LA Rams won't exist in a couple of years. No matter what St Louis builds.
  11. I do wonder how the Raiders and Chargers feel about their current cities wanting to build a stadium. Are they on board or are they like the Rams owner? Screw this town, im outta here!
  12. My early thoughts on it. I think Goodell wanted the Raiders and Chargers in LA this whole time. That is why he spoke out some time ago. It was him telling Kroenke to slow his roll. It doesn't matter. I think Kroenke will kick and scream his way to LA. I think that is a slam dunk. Very interesting to see who will be the odd man out of the three, and where that odd man will go. My early gut feeling is the Raiders will be in St Louis or San Antonio.
  13. Khan announced his Shipyard plans today. I really wanted an aquarium, but it still looks nice. The indoor practice facility looks cool. He also announced more changes to Everbank and released numbers. Everything is trending on the up. Despite having a putrid team, revenue grows. When they start winning, huge success will be afoot. http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2015/2/17/8052205/shad-khan-presents-jacksonville-shipyards-project#4671450
  14. I can't wait for the Shipyards announcement. I hope it isn't just overpriced shops. One rumor is an aquarium. I could dig that. The indoor practice field will be on the Shipyards. Khan pumped it up during a recent interview. I don't remember what he said, but the gist of it was that it will be unique and amazing. It's an indoor practice facility. How amazing could it be? Very curious about that. Khan is very eccentric. I like that a lot.
  15. Dead on, Goth. Khan is taking advantage of it to make his Jax foundation stronger. He is extending his deal with London and I'm all for it.
  16. London is his side play. It helps pay the bills.
  17. He is already reaping some success from his investment. Jacksonville wad 32nd in revenue when he bought the team. They are now 22nd. I don't buy that this traveled billionare is homesick for St Louis.
  18. Meanwhile, Khan is building an indoor practice facility and is about to announce a huge investment in to the Shipyards next week. Khan will not be in St Louis ever. I can't stress that enough.
  19. Funny thing is, how oldschoolvikings described him was kind of my point. He is having a good time. He responded like I called him a beautiful man or something. Whoooosh! He is no Admiral. A beautiful man in an ugly world.
  20. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I see a rich man enjoying life.
  21. Let me tell you about the 24 other franchises that don't do that.
  22. I would rather cheer for a 0-16 Jacksonville Jags than a 16-0 Los Angeles Jags.
  23. Keep in mind, I'm a Jags super fan. (No duh) but from what I have seen, Khan isn't leaving Jax. He has invested so much money. I'm sure this could be owner speak, but he has expressed his love for Jax. Why does he love it? It's Florida! Potential galore. He has houses in Florida. He is a self made extravagant billionaire. Where he lays his head is home. He is traveled. He isnt home sick. Hell, look at this picture. So glad the Rams owner did what he did. It saved my franchise. Khan would have kept that team in St Louis. Kroenke had a plan when he bought St Louis. Look at him. He is dirtier than my underwear three days after I should have done the laundry.
  24. I agree. I never want to see them wear white pants at home again.
