Bumping this because it looks like the Knicks got some new banners. Because of the bridges, some banners had to be re-sized (per the Post: http://nypost.com/2013/10/25/new-garden-new-policy-knicks-hang-division-banners/). But when have things gone as planned in Glendale?)

If memory serves, the Astros situation was a bit different. They weren't asking to switch like the Red Wings and Blue Jackets. MLB wanted them to move, and gave the new owners a $70 million discount to switch leagues.

Well, there's always a chance negotiations break down irreparably before then. But I hope not. Glendale City Council meetings dealing with the Coyotes are fun to watch.

I think the key dates are the Glendale City Council meeting on June 25 and the NHL Board of Governors meeting on June 27. I haven't heard about any earlier votes on the lease.
