I think the Bagwell uniform is pretty appropriate.
I was referring to Rock and Pudge. Always think of Pudge in the Rangers' red era.

MLB giving us two examples of right team, wrong uniform.

It's probably buried somewhere in here but I thought about this for some reason.
I've written much more challenging stories, but this one felt surreal to do. http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/still-passionate-for-hockey-brodeur-ready-to-help-blues/

Jim Everett with the San Diego Chargers in his final year as a QB- 1997. The only time he played for a team outside the NFC West (11 years with the Rams/Saints)
What a beautiful uniform.

The NY Giants' white pants aren't good. The helmet and blue jersey are very plain and traditional, while the white pants with red, gray and blue stripes are showy and clash with the other elements.

Charlie Joiner as a Houston Oiler
So, Charlie looked weird when he was a Joiner of some teams early in his career?
(Maybe I should be suspended or banned for this.)

And I will never understand how someone could not prefer this clean and dignified set to the jumbled mess that that team has worn since 1981.
Furthermore, the fact that this look resembles the Browns is not a drawback, especially considering that Brown himself founded the team.
It was boring, generic, derivative and copied their more famous arch rival. Other than that, yeah, this was a great set.

As always, this thread has devolved into recent acquisitions. For all we know, Chicago could become D.Wade's "right" uniform.
No chance. If he wins three rings with the Bulls and overshadows his time in Miami I will be very surprised. More likely this is Willie Mays on the Mets.
And recent doesn't mean wrong. Just a new example. Some night eventually be right, but not all.

No worries.
(I love those Astros uniforms. So 90s but perfect for that team and stadium.)
