Here's a ring I haven't seen before. Last years Kansas basketball big 12 championship ring. The 10 on top stands for 10 straight conference championships. This thing looks huge! -

Get one before the NFL sends its cease and desist letters, folks! I got a Lombardi trophy from this guy and the quality is good. These look nice as well -

Here's the actual FIBA ring the players received today. Another generic Joatens design. -

yeah I'm pretty sure the NFL doesn't have a say in the design of the rings. The only thing the NFL does is dish out the $5000 for the cost of the rings. I thought the 2011AFC ring was a good design. -

Well they used tiffanys for the super bowl so my guess is they'll use them again but has tiffanys ever made a conference ring? -

Yes both of those designs are Terrible. But I'm sure Jostens or Tiffanys will get the contract deciding who wins. -

That's very funny! And I feel that there is irony in the fact that the Patriots last three AFC trophies (2014, 2011, 2007) will be of a football with no air inside the football! Love both of these -

Well the old trophy better fit my whole packers tattoo. The new one just didn't quite fit with everything else. -

I think your die hard fans notices the difference. I noticed it right away in 2010 when the packers won it. -

I disagree.. the old trophies where way better than the new ones. The new ones are plain and boring and small. Watching the post game stuff yesterday the trophy tended get lost in the crowd because it was small. While I understand they wanted to kind of reflect the Lombardi trophy with the new ones there's something to be said about keep the heritage of the game. -

Just thinking of the 4 teams still standing for a super bowl ring, if they would to pick the same ring supplier as their last ring that's 3 different companies so possibly some interesting new designs. Packers and Patriots-Jostens Seahawks-Tiffanys Colts-Herff-Jones -

Not only that but look at the Date of the invoice for Lew Anderson's ring.. It's dated 1964... why two years later? -

Didn't even realize that the image on the side of the ring is the same one I have tattooed on me. The packers don't use this much any more. But if you look you'll see two dots on the state one for Green Bay and the other is Milwaukee. -

While Peyton won the super bowl, he doesn't actually own the ring any more as he gave it to his mom after he received it. -

The photo of the paperwork clearly states that the Packers ordered 55 rings before Lew's order was written up. I guess this means that Lew's 1961 ring is not the only ring (unless the Packers cancelled the order and went with watches). If the order did go through, and I can't see why it would have been cancelled, then there appear to have been at least 56 rings made. That seems like a lot of people, purchasing their own championship ring, so perhaps the Packers offered a ring or a watch to members of the organization. Could be. Never seen any other ring other than this one. Even from players you never see it. -

I agree 100%Not sure who made that ring but FSU copied it a year later. Maybe Jostens made both.
