  1. Placeholder? That's good enough to be the logo for the next 10-15 years!
  2. Eh, I said the same thing last time around. I don't think it's terrible (I went to check out IP's offficial forums last night to get an idea of what it would look like), but it'll definitely take some getting used to.
  3. Nah... go to some Blues and Cardinals games and make some friends. Or dating prospects. Or both. Or go to a country bar, silently take over their TouchTunes with hip-hop via phone. Folks in Arnold love that. Wait... When it comes to dating prospects, he can definitely find someone at a Blues game...
  4. You're now qualified to be a Chargers fan.Speaking of which... I'm a Chargers fan with no connection to San Diego. I'm a fan because my dad's family spent their summers there, so be became a Chargers fan and I "inherited" that. I'm telling you all this because while I have no real connection to San Diego my dad does. Not as much as someone from there, but he knows the city and thinks fondly of it. We were talking about this whole mess and I brought up the fact that the Chargers are probably going to move to LA one way or another. I'm going to try and reconstruct the relevant bit of that conversation as best I can. Dad: "Why would the Chargers move? It should be the Raiders and Rams. The Chargers were never a LA team." Me: "Well they played there for a year, for their first season." Dad: "That doesn't count and no one cares." Me: "Well Spanos wants to move back because he says the Rams moving to LA would damage his revenue streams." Dad: "Dean Spanos is an idiot." That pretty much sums it up. Los Angeles Chargers: they don't count and no one cares. Also? Dean Spanos? Idiot. Yep. Yep. They're ditching the city where they've spent all but one year of their entire existence in, for a place where they're guaranteed to be second fiddle, and Spanos is too much of an idiot to realize that. It's sad, really.
  5. Loving the "LA" monogram, but agreed with Mockba about the empty space inside the badge. They could have done a better job in that regard, but overall, this is pretty sweet.
  6. Raglan sleeves again? Are you :censored:ing kidding me? And yeah, I'm not sure as to what's going on with that collar, either. Let me tell you, I'm really looking forward to when this deal with Puma ends.
  7. Agreed. They were both decent jerseys as a one-off, but there's no need for them to become any more than that. Also, it's kinda disappointing that they never have the refs join in on the throwback fun. It was awesome when they did it at the Heritage Classic, I wish they'd do it again:
  8. Yeah, good on you, Morgo. Not many people on the internet will admit when they're wrong/shouldn't have said something, so props for that. You're not a bad guy, but you tend to go a bit overboard at times. More of a general statement, but the most painful discussions here are when people get overly riled up about things, because at that point, the thread stops being fun & enjoyable and instead turns into a giant headache. Just reel it in a bit, and things will go a lot smoother.
  9. Man City copying NYCFC? Love it! In all seriousness, it's not bad, but it could be better. Agreed with Goth's suggested of having "City" on the same side as "Manchester", with "Football Club" on the bottom. Also, I'd fit the shield inside the circle. But overall, I don't mind it.
  10. Interesting. On another note, the hooped socks are coming back. Yes!
  11. Kinda surprised that the Hawks aren't #1. I mean, the Blues' jerseys look great as well, but definitely not as good as Chicago's. And yeah, the Bruins and Rangers should be way higher than they are. Can't argue with the bottom 5.
  12. Yeah, kinda crappy wording on my part. What I meant was that while I'm not crazy about this year's kit (the design is nice, but I really don't like that badge), it's way better than next year's supposed shirt. So if I want to get a jersey, it appears that I'll have to settle for this year's one.
  13. Are you :censored:ing kidding me? Who the hell thought that this was a good idea? Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Guess I'll bite the bullet and pick up this year's home kit. I don't love it, but it's sure as hell better than this.
  14. Yeah, that would be my favorite as well (aside from the throwback). But then again, that's not saying all that much.
  15. I... I dunno what to make of this. Just a complete mess all around. Ugh.
