  1. So basically lots of teams will be ruining decent looks and destroying any form of color balance in favor of monochromatic looks? Wooohooo!
  2. Is this a typo? I agree with a lot of your other predictions, although I could definitely see one of the Saints games being a pewter game.
  3. Didn't want to quote the whole thing, but here are some of my thoughts regarding WAH predictions, sort of going off of the above post: I think the Jets will do it Week 1 vs. Baltimore since they did for their home openers each of the past two seasons. Could do it again Week 3 vs. CIN, in October, or not a second time at all. Bears also wore throwback white in October last season vs. Green Bay. Could happen any week really. Hopeful that Carolina wears blue or black for that Week 4 late afternoon game. Saints wore Color Rush at home three times last season. I would expect it at least once in the Superdome, not just for the London game. I think the Rams definitely wear white over yellow for the season opener rather than Week 2 vs. Atlanta. They could also appear against Dallas, but I think it's possible they save them for later in the season for another home game. Bucs realistically might only wear it in Week 3 and Week 5 based on their allotment of late kickoffs. Jags will likely only do it for Week 2. They come back home in Week 5, which is when teal started in 2021. Titans is interesting with that late afternoon Week 1 kickoff. I think we could see light blue there or in Week 3 vs. Vegas. Miami will hopefully start to wear aqua in Week 10 or 12 vs. CLE/HOU. Atlanta is anyone's guess. Would love to see it in Week 1 because it would likely mean Saints in black over gold.
  4. I don't think that is the case, unfortunately. The team has yet to post any image or clip of a player in the white jersey with anything with but white pants.
  5. Like the Falcons situation, it's unclear if this means Washington will wear black more than once or if Week 9 will be the lone time. It is right in the middle of the season, so I guess it's possible, but I wouldn't be shocked to see it again in December.
  6. Teams don’t seem to put too much thought into Media Day. The Titans still use navy over white, which they have yet to wear more than once a season or in their home stadium.
  7. I would say this is quite convincing, considering they took the time to edit four players into this specific uniform combination. Still can't believe they omitted stripes on the pants just so that they could rock the all-white pajama look that looks awful on every team.
  8. Plus, they always release a full uniform schedule and probably wanted to save the other date for that. The fact that they only wore the gradient once last season and for a London game tells me they don't think too highly of it. I don't seem them wearing it twice, whereas, with how much they're hyping up this red helmet, I don't see why they would only wear it one time.
  9. First official announcement: Falcons are wearing throwbacks with red helmets Week 6 against San Francisco. Glad it is officially back, but does this mean they will also wear throwback once with the black helmet? Or will they wear the gradient twice or maybe only use two of the three throwback opportunities?
  10. Some of these combos don’t even exist. Bengals white/orange, Broncos white/navy, Falcons white/red hasn’t been confirmed to be real yet. The rest of the predictions are fairly reasonable, although I don’t think they’ve ever worn black in back-to-back weeks, as Weeks 16 and 17 has. I think the Bills game will most likely be all-white vs. purple/white. The blue pants do not seem to be the preference at the moment for Buffalo. 2016 gave us that matchup with the blue pants at least.
  11. Sadly, I think that could very well be a black jersey game for Philly, which they also did last time Green Bay visited in 2016 (also Week 12, but on Monday night). The thing is, the Eagles somehow have four home prime time games this season, so who knows which ones will feature the black jerseys? I’m hoping Week 10 vs. Washington is one of them.
  12. Let’s hope not. We don’t need them and the Bengals possibly doing this.
  13. The Color Rush look hasn’t been worn for a home game since the redesign. Only at Dallas in 2020. I don’t think it would suddenly appear for three home games in one season. Maybe one though.
  14. I’m curious what they’ll do for this game. They haven’t had a night home opener since they started wearing white at home for their opener. This will be a good indication of whether or not it’s a heat thing or they just like doing it regardless. I’m also curious how much of the blue pants we’ll see this year. They stopped wearing them with the white jersey after the loss to Jacksonville last season, but they brought them back on Thanksgiving with the blue jersey.
  15. Teal socks too, and maybe some sort of stripe on the pants and sleeves. I honestly miss the color integration of these uniforms. Helmet aside, they at least had some personality and utilized some teal and gold:
  16. Luckily the Jaguars host the Raiders in November too and will likely be in teal. Should be a great looking matchup, as long as they wear a reasonable pant and sock combo.
  17. The game is in the evening. I'd say black pants are more than possible. Teal is the least likely.
  18. Week 1: BUF blue/white at LAR white/sol PIT black/gold at CIN white/white PHI white/white at DET blue/gray BAL purple/white at NYJ white/white NO black/gold at ATL white/white (could also see Atlanta wearing black white and NO in white/white) CLE brown/white at CAR white/white SF white/gold at CHI navy/white NE navy/navy at MIA white/white (gonna guess regular white for MIA, not throwback) JAC white/black at WAS burgundy/burgundy IND blue/white at HOU white/white GB white/gold at MIN purple/white NYG blue/white at TEN white/navy (really hope the late afternoon kickoff inspires TEN to wear navy or light blue like in 2017) LV black/silver at LAC white/white KC white/red at ARI red/white (rare occasion where I'd welcome Arizona in black, but it's not likely in Week 1) TB red/pewter at DAL white/mint (could also see Tampa in red/white) DEN white/white at SEA navy/navy
  19. Really curious to see if Atlanta opens up the year with white at home against the Saints like they did vs. Philly in Week 1 last season. Would love to see the Saints in black over gold against Atlanta, which I think would likely happen. I'm also curious when they'll wear the gradient, since they only wore it in London last season. Wouldn't mind seeing it against Chicago in Week 11 to add some color to that matchup. It was pretty rough in 2020. And please tell me the throwback will be with the red helmet this year and not not until 2023.
  20. Looking at this Bucs schedule, we can realistically expect a lot of red for once. The first two games are on the road against teams that will likely be in white at home. And then they play two home prime time games, a London game, and a Week 9 late afternoon kickoff all in the first half of the season! I predict it will be Red at Dallas Pewter at New Orleans in Color Rush white vs. GB and ATL Red for hopefully the rest of the home games unless they randomly wear white here and there like last season. The difference though is that they lost in WAH in the playoffs this time around. We’ll see.
  21. That 2018 Titans game vs. Washington seemed to be a one-time thing. I don't see them wearing white over navy in primetime in January (and yes, I say over navy because they refuse to wear all white at home or white over columbia blue at all anymore). I would say there is a shot we see navy in Week 3 when the Cowboys visit the Giants on Monday night. This happened in 2019 when the Giants wore white Color Rush. At the Rams in Week 5 I am not so sure. I think this could be a blue jersey game for the Rams. Lastly, at Washington wouldn't be til the final week of the season. I think that could go either way.
  22. We’ve seen them wear navy the last two times vs. Tennessee. I want to see navy over Columbia for that one. And in 2018, the Jags went black over teal in Dallas. I hope for regular teal over white this time, or if they do somehow opt to wear white, over teal pants.
  23. Why does the league love depriving us of Packers in white vs. Buccaneers in red? Week 3 meeting almost guarantees the Bucs will again be in white at home.
  24. I agree. They’ve had more success against KC in the yellow pants than white pants. Something tells me they’re gonna open at home against Jacksonville or Miami.
  25. So for these international matchups, we have: Vikings at Saints I'm hopeful the Saints will finally wear black for this matchup for the first time since the '09 NFCCG, but they seem to love wearing white against this team for some reason. They even did it again after the 2019 playoff loss. I view this as a possible Color Rush game for New Orleans, which they seem to save for national TV games. Giants at Packers These teams have had some memorable Frozen Tundra battles over the years. '07 NFCCG, 2016 divisional game with the Cobb Hail Mary. I don't like when less common matchups get moved to London. Would've loved to see a more modernized visual version of this matchup at Lambeau. Disappointing. Broncos at Jaguars Would've liked to see the Jags wear teal vs. Denver since we missed out on that last year. Now it will likely be all-black again in London, like they wore vs. Denver in 2016. Seahawks at Buccaneers Another pretty rare meeting that I would've preferred to see at Raymond James as long as Tampa wears red, which I assume they will here. 49ers at Cardinals - Seen plenty of times. Who cares? For the sake of rare trips to opponent stadiums/rare uniform pairings, I wish more division games were played overseas. Or these new 17th game opponents are also a good option. Titans played at Lambeau in 2020. Chiefs played at Tampa twice in 2020. How bout put these matchups overseas this time around. I guess these are considered 'marquee' matchups that need to remain in the states for prime time.
