  1. I think the same can be said about the Rams wearing sol/yellow bottoms on opening night. One that I think should maybe be TBD is Houston. We’ve seen them wear navy socks or pants in the Liberty White home opener in recent seasons.
  2. I said the same thing a couple weeks ago and got ripped apart for it. Pretty sure 9 people downvoted it. I guess people have realized it isn’t quite as fun this way and there isn’t as much to discuss.
  3. Their all-white look does the same thing. The black pants at least breaks up the pajama look and add a little something to give it some pop.
  4. Decent looking game on ESPN tonight. It’s nice seeing the Jets in green in the preseason since they’re already scheduled to wear white or black for 5/8 home games this season, which is absurd. And hats off to whoever within Atlanta’s organization got them consistently wearing black pants on the road.
  5. At least the Ravens decided to wear as much black as possible themselves. God forbid they wear purple or even white pants.
  6. This look is far better from this angle that doesn’t reveal the matching socks or lack of pant stripes.
  7. Do the Panthers really care that much about wearing black for a preseason game full of backups? Why not wear black for the Washington game and then wear blue for two home games in the regular season and wear black for the January Tampa game. If it’s only worn once, why waste it for a road game at the end of the season?
  8. So Washington did not once show off or mock-up this white over burgundy combo since the unveil, yet they are already wearing it in game 2? I’m happy it won’t be white on white all the time, but wow does that bottom half need some contrast….
  9. I agree. I'm worried it will either be oversimplified or they'll look too much like the Falcons.
  10. A lot of teams seem to do this with previous uniform sets. I know the Dolphins have done it with their 2013 pants.
  11. Eagles haven’t worn black socks with the all white look since 2018, but EA still has it as their default road look.
  12. I was thinking that as well about the color tones until I recalled that that exact pairing was allowed for a nationally-televised Thanksgiving matchup several years back.
  13. Yeah, this isn’t making much sense. They get to choose against Denver in orange, but HAVE to wear white against the Chargers in powder blue, which is an even lighter color? We’ve even seen them wear navy against the Chargers in powder that one Thanksgiving game. It seems that Detroit’s gray Color Rush is treated similarly. We’ve seen teams wear both white and colored jerseys against it on multiple occasions.
  14. These teams meet on SNF in Week 17. Could get the same thing as last night, but there are several other possibilities.
  15. I am referring to those matchups by saying that the league seems to allow it against the Broncos.
  16. It would appear that the league considers orange a light enough color that this is okay against the Broncos. I just don’t understand why the Cowboys of all teams would choose to do it.
  17. Panthers are looking good in their original blue combo with the silver pants and black socks. Not sure why they’ve had to ruin it with white pants and blue and white socks lately. I don’t mind these Commanders uniforms design-wise. They’re still not overly good, but they’re interesting enough and ultimately the correct colors I guess, but the plain white from the waist down is rough. I think the lack of stripes bothers me even more than the lack of burgundy socks.
  18. It also allows teams with good alternates like Carolina to waste one of their opportunities to wear it.
  19. Exactly. Most of the fun of this thread during the season comes from us all sharing our predictions and what we agree with and disagree with or what would look the best for given matchups. I don’t think most people on here go back and look at what was actually worn. It’s hard to even find a specific week as the page count increases.
  20. Why TBD on the pants? Wasn’t the point of this thread to predict the full uniform that will be worn?
  21. Most of the time they hold up during the season. The issue is when teams like the Falcons with no common sense make blatant errors that were never accurate to begin with.
  22. Falcons have inevitably taken down their schedule. We now wait for the "updated" version that will correct all of those glaring errors that the media team somehow missed.
  23. Their schedule actually has them in black at Carolina, which makes no sense whatsoever. Gonna say that one is white and the other two are supposed to be black. Unless the Bucs for some reason are wearing red in Week 5 (which would be awesome but I don’t buy it)
