  1. I respect the Vikings for their commitment to the purple pants on the road and their inability to be swayed by the temptations brought about by the snowflake emoji. Bills Chiefs games look so good when the Bills wear this combo, as do most Bills games.
  2. This is perfection. A clean modern version of the throwback is all they need to do. The lack of red on the current set is ridiculous.
  3. Green two games in a row at Met Life is incredible. No announcement from Houston yet, who typically reveals their combo midweek. I have a feeling they could be planning something big, like white over red.
  4. The social media person is just reporting the decision and probably feels the need to hype it up in some way. I don't think whoever posted this is directly involved with the uniform choices. I remember in 2019 the Eagles twitter page threw a parade for the return of the green pants after a multi-year hiatus as though the team wasn't allowed to wear them.
  5. I used to enjoy the mystery too, but in today’s NFL I’d rather know ahead of time if a matchup will look good or terrible rather than turning on my screen to see a bunch of white unitards without any advanced notice. But I agree the posts are pretty cringeworthy most of the time. I would say the ability to give feedback is a plus, but too many people on there have horrendous taste that it does more harm than good.
  6. Actually yes. Blue jersey combos: Wk 1 lost in all-blue Wk 2 won in blue/white Wk 4 won in blue/white Wk 5 lost in blue/white Wk 8 won in all-blue Wk 10 lost in all-blue Wk 11 won in blue-white White jersey combos: Wk 3 won in all-white Wk 7 lost in all-white Wk 9 lost in white/blue Wk 12 lost in all-white Wk 14 TBD in white/blue So following this pattern, blue/white will be worn next week against Dallas, unless they wear Color Rush again. And then the result of this weekend’s game at KC will determine the pant color for their Saturday night Week 16 game at the Chargers.
  7. Okay, this will look cool. Most teams do a black endzone with black jerseys, so I respect Pittsburgh for bringing these bad boys back from Christmas Eve last year.
  8. In half the games each week the scorebug is more visually interesting than the uniforms on the field.
  9. I’m glad these teams were each courageous enough to collaborate to create a vs. uniform matchup. I’ve been wondering what this would look like. Now I know!
  10. Chiefs wearing all-white for both of their NFC North road games is unexpected. Usually it’s reserved for one or two division road trips.
  11. I personally like the color clash between the Browns and Rams, but what’s odd is that the Rams didn’t wear yellow pants for either white jersey home game this season. And what’s even more odd is that this is even a WAH game to begin with.
  12. You gotta wonder who is pushing for this and how many people are involved with the decision. It just doesn’t make any sense. And then this enables the Panthers to show up in all-blue, making them look even more ridiculous.
  13. At this point I think it’s clear Arizona is committed to their atrocious mono combos for the foreseeable future. Maybe late next season they finally try something different. Chargers in white pants is disappointing. Yellow pants should be an easy choice when the home team is in white helmets and pants. Commanders again sticking with the mono combo. I don’t get it.
  14. At least CBS is 1080. I highly recommend using the FOX app for those games. The quality is notably better than on regular cable.
  15. It’s nice seeing these Hawks unis on Prime in HDR rather than on lousy 720p FOX.
  16. This photo isn’t exactly an accurate representation of how most players wear the uniform. I still agree though. Its interesting how the current unis have a helmet logo with a drop shadow but flat jersey numbers, while the throwbacks have the opposite for each.
  17. Not entirely. They did wear red vs. Philly for that Monday evening kickoff in September. They also chose to wear red in Germany last year and have worn red for most prime time games, which would indicate that to some degree it is a heat thing. The last time they wore red at home for a 1pm game though was 2020 Week 14 against Minnesota.
  18. Why can this team wear the Creamsicles in October, but December is too hot to wear anything but white? At least they threw that crucial fire emoji at the end of the tweet.
