These names are getting way too specific while simultaneously meaning nothing at all. None of those are any good, except maybe Killer Bees.

I miss these. The steel drop logo. The shoulder patch (Which is in my top 15 all-time). The font, the colours, everything. I feel this jersey was very under-appreciated.

 

I also prefer Navy, Copper & Red to Blue & Orange. The colours now feel so light and don't work for me at all.

As an Oilers fan, this has always been my favourite. No clue why, but I just love it.

I'll admit the colour balance wasn't perfect, but the jersey themselves were great. That shiny silver, the reddish marroon, all of it. It's a shame they dumped these to go back to Blue & Green when it wasn't needed.

Such an underrated uniform. The Oilers, Flames, and Canucks all looked their best in the early 2000s.

I absolutely love that set. The throwback is nice, I have nothing against it, but those pre-edge ones are the best they've ever worn.

I get to pass the LEC every time I go down to the Lower Mainland to see family. Sure would be nice to get a few Giamts games in there.

I think many people's first thoughts of Joe Thornton are as a Shark though. It's not like he accomplished anything in Boston. For all the (deserved) derision the Sharks of the past decade have gotten, they've at least had some measure of success.

I keep getting ads for "beautiful showhomes in Berwyn". Berwyn is a town close to me, which is of course why these fake ads are cantered there. 

 

The thing is... Berwyn has about 50 people living in it so I get a kick out of these huge cottages supposedly out in some field next to a run-down John Deere and the old railroad.

Stickguy's old stickwife, Twiggi, got board with him and had an affair with his stickboss. It turned into such a big deal that they actually transfered him to another branch in Pencilvania and she took the stickids with her. It was really rough for Stickguy at first, but then he met single mom Branchette on stickpeoplemeet.com and they hit it off so well she up and relocated her whole clan from Stickperson Durham (Tree Hill). I'm not sure that one is gonna last though, because she clearly still has feelings for her ex stickhusband Cane, who recently extended the olive branch to her, and he's really been working on getting over that nasty aged whiskey problem. There's also some tension because Stickguy isn't as effective at sticking her as Cain was, and Stickguy is already totally fed up with her dad Oakley, who just sits around all day in his old maple rocker trying to shake Stickguy's tree. He always says Stickguy's career as a woodworker is too one dimensional and that he should branch out more. Money is also a point of contention because, as Ol Red says "Money doesn't grow on trees, you know!" and he wastes his cash on stupid frivolous things like Hurricanes season tickets. It's gonna be hard on Ash and Aspen, but it'll get better if they decided to stick it out and try to see the forest for the trees.

Not totally sure how accurate all of that is, though. It's just something I heard through the grapevine. I'm sure we'll root out more of the important details over the course of the season.

I've done this before, but eh why not again:

Edmonton Oilers: my dad grew up with the team, and having lived in northern Alberta most of my life they're the closest team. I remember crying when they lost game 7 of the cup final in 2006, and they'll always be my team.

Toronto Blue Jays: I didn't care until 2012, when they pulled off the blockbuster deal with Miami then traded for R.A. Dickey. I've been a fan since, and this year I've become heavily invested in them, making them my #1 team for the time being. They're the Canadian team, I can't see ever changing my allegiance.

Indianapolis Colts: My NFL team. I started getting into the NFL a few years back and decided I needed a team. I like their uniforms, history and Andrew Luck. I follow the scores, and watch when I can.

Edmonton Eskimos: This is the first team I cheered for. When I was 4 I'd run around my grandparents' apartment yelling "Ricky Ray!". My interest in the CFL has waned over the years.

I have a few secondary teams but I don't feel like explaining them.

NHL: Columbus Blue Jackets

MLB: Chicago Cubs

NFL: Green Bay Packers

CFL: Ottawa Redblacks

That's actually the first Major team Forsberg played for. Modo Hockey of the SHL. So it's the right uniform.

Not much different other than the addition of white and the unused Johnny Canuck 20th anniversary patch. Gives a look at what he would have looked like in the 90s colors.

Oh wow... That is a pretty sweater. The white really goes well with the Deutschland colours, as well as Johnny Canuck looking good in the 90's.

It's all man-bun nowadays.

Does anyone else have this problem? When I view the boards on iOS on Safari, my avatar gets swapped out for another image. When I had drunk Pat Kane, it turned into a cartoon shark. Now I have Spaceship Earth, and it turns into a MLB.com Shop ad. It appears normally on Chrome for Windows and iOS.

Edit: Annnnnnd it's gone.

I'm having a similar problem in phone. My avatar is showing as Tigers6884's, and OnWis' avatar now takes the place of the Facebook logo at the bottom of the page where it says share.

I dont think that the canucks have had a bad logo or jersey.

I always associated him with the Blues. I missed out on his Flames days but I know him as a member of the Blues.

Yeah, Al MacInnis is a Blue. I understand he's a Flame as well, but this is a situation where there's two right uniforms.
