  1. Why are the Panthers numbers so huge? Other than that, everything is very cool!
  2. The fact that the Carolina Hurricanes logo still has black and silver despite hardly using black in their home uniforms (only on their collars) and not a single touch of silver! The road uniforms have black piping, but what's the point? They got rid of so much black on their home uniforms that they should just eliminate it and go red & white, or red & white & silver. A logo like this and uniforms without any black would look far better .....
  3. 1) the Calgary Flames Alberta and Canadian flag shoulder patches. I somewhat respect its uniqueness and originality but come on, the Alberta flag is BLUE, I cant stand seeing the complete opposite color on a uniform that doesn't use it! The Canadian flag is a little more acceptable, although it still annoys me greatly when I think about it. Why have a maple leaf on your uniform when you'[re the Flames? The Flames aren't the only Canadian team in the league, leave the patriotic maple leaf and Canadian pride for Toronto and Montreal !
  4. kevsim1, the playoffs would be pretty much the same as it is currently. The conference would be-ranked, division winner #1 getting the top seed and division winner #2 getting the second seed in the conference standings. (1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 6, 4 vs. 5.) And to tigerslionspistonshabs, you're right, I think that makes sense that they are putting teams in the same time zone together. I just think that this might make more sense. I believe that the Canucks could have a better rivalry being in the same division with the Red Wings, or Blackhawks, than with the Kings and Sharks for example. Also, I would also be upset to see the rivalry between my hometown Flyers and the New York teams be separated, but I would still take that over what they have currently done with the realignment and that's moving Detroit away from Chicago.
  5. I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I absolutely think the new realignment Bettman has approved, is God awful. What I would have done instead (with the current teams in place, no relocation), is this. In the Western Conference and Eastern Conference, it could be split into North and South Divisions. Because there would only two divisions with a conference of 15 teams, obviously one division would have 8 and the other would have 7. I think that's fine, and the way I would set things up would be like this. Western Conference; North Division (Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, Minnesota Wild, Chicago Blackhawks, Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings), South Division (San Jose Sharks, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Phoenix Coyotes, Dallas Stars, Nashville Predators and St. Louis Blues). The Eastern Conference; North Division (Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Islanders and New York Rangers). South Division (Columbus Blue Jackets, Philadelphia Flyers, New Jersey Devils, Washington Capitals, Carolina Hurricanes, Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers). Any people agree with this concept? The division winners would rank #1 and #2 seed in the respected conference, with 8 teams in each 15 team conference advancing to the post-season. This way, things don't change too much and it stays more geographically accurate.
