I don't think it's the face mask that's out of place.

Around here, I'd say that's a popular opinion... and one with which I disagree.

Pacers best look was their previous pinstripe set
Yes. Yes yes yes yes yes. YES.

Well, good point... there's never a time when Milwaukee doesn't have every highway torn up with construction.
-
'Sconnies do take their tailgating quite seriously. Plus there's a great bar within an easy walk of there. (...and, I'm sure, about twenty more I don't know.)
I'm not sure that a 5-10 minute drive from downtown is really all that far, though.

Herp-a-derp... brown is the color of poop! I bet no one's ever said that before! It's especially funny since I don't like their team! Derp!

So in short, while I do like these "retro ballparks", there is a homogeneity going on and it would be nice if there was still a County Stadium and a few more of those.
As much as I love Miller Park, I still miss County Stadium.
I would love Miller Park much more if it were downtown where it belongs instead of the Valley, away from the rest of Milwaukee because outstate fans are scurred of the big scurry city.
Because it's so very, very far from the city... oh, wait, no, it's in the city, isn't it?

The new park in St. Louis is amazingly better than the round stadium.

Is there a reason that every time someone disagrees with you, you get snippy and combative, McCall?
Anyway, enough arguing from both of you.

...a year after having their 50th anniversary?

This is the unpopular opinions thread, no? I know it's not a popular opinion, but it's mine. GORGEOUS.

These Newcastle away kits were gorgeous. GORGEOUS.

Wait, they have a new one? It's the one on the right? Gross.

Each post has a number in the upper-right corner. That number is a link; the URL is the direct URL to the post.

I like the idea of that logo... but it could use a re-work. It could also definitely use "Columbus" on there somewhere.

In that combination, they're fantastic. The black versions are ok, but the red with white pants look is quite nice.
Those panels aren't "random" (they're actually quite coherent), and piping isn't inherently evil.

Mod Note: This thread is for unpopular opinions about sports logos, jerseys, etc. It's not about meta complaining, nor complaining about the meta complaining. Posts have been moved elsewhere (you know where).
Thank you for participating. Carry on.

I hated the Rangers' "Lady Liberty" sweaters and really don't understand the folks who want to see them replace one of the most classic sweaters in the history of hockey. Most New Yorkers have only visited the statue once, on a middle-school field trip... how is that a good symbol for a team representing New York City?
Not to mention it technically sits in NJ's waters.
From the National Park Service:
Is the Statue in New York or New Jersey? The Statue of Liberty is on Liberty Island, federal property administered by the National Park Service, located within the territorial jurisdiction of the State of New York.

You almost had me there... except that I thought they were the khaki/sand/whatever jerseys. Those were the best.
-
If the new one had the "B" removed, I think it'd be great.

I am just now realizing how unpopular this opinion is. The Milwaukee Brewers "Beerbarrel Man" is terrible. It's from the 70s and it looks it. And the hat is the worst part of the fan-designed spring training uniform winner.
I don't feel quite as strongly, but I'm not generally a big fan of it, either. At least it's not as bad as the BiG.
-
I don't remember the Sabres or the Gap going under once they changed to those.
-
I love the Rams' current uniforms and hate their athletic gold ones.
...as long as they stick with the gold pants.

Is this now the bug reporting topic?
It seems that the inline post editing function translates special characters into their HTML entities, so that you end up with things like & in your post instead of an ampersand.
