  1. I once saw a cake at the grocery store with a James Harden wallpaper I had made on it. You can spot my watermark on the bottom right. Delicious plagiarism.

That's hilarious actually. Hard to be upset at a chocolate goodness cake...unless you're allergic...

  2. One more thing about copyrights - whenever a piece of work is made (photo taken, drawing completed, etc), the owner of the work is entitled to a copyright on that piece. That alone doesn't hold much weight in court, but it's a given in protection. One can always go the extra step and actually claim the copyright. You can do this straight through the US Copyright's website. I think it's only $35 per piece. But this would certainly be a last ditch resort.

yes $35 a piece. but that "piece" is the important part. dont spend $35 on EVERY logo and bit of work you do. make a book, put everything in it, then for the same price, all of your work in it is protected

This is a much cheaper way to do it...I had a twitter photo stolen and used on a very bad Alabama website that mocked me, Auburn, and everything else and they never credited to me and it infuriated me. So I had some guys tell me about the $35 per piece.

  4. I just looked at avcoop, avconcepts' "personal" account, and he has the sportslogos.net in his bio. Is that to make him seem less suspicious or is he on the boards?

    I assume the former

  5. but then again neither is stealing other people's work and claiming credit.

The people on Instagram not only seem to be oblivious to spelling and grammar, but also common sense and politeness.

    *People of the world.

  6. I'd also like to point out that he also has a "personal" Instagram account: avcoop. He doesn't post as frequently on that one, though I imagine if his other account gets reported he'll start posting them there.

Just checked avconcepts and he went private.

I imagine if any of these accounts get reported/shut down/blocked/whatever that they'll simply just make another account and continue...

  7. It's truly gotten out of hand. All these guys are very hard-headed about it when you call them out and go defensive mode like crazy. I'm not sure what can be done, but I hope something gets worked out. I truly hate seeing all the hard work posted on here being ripped off. And many times, even crediting someone doesn't do any good. Like mentioned above, the users can make it seem like they made it and the commenters have no idea at all. There's a difference between "Hey, check out this awesome concept made by sportslogos, net user XXX!" and just posting a picture with (and many times without) the creator's name. It's really sad.
