  1. The lack of stripes on the New York Giants home uniform drives me nuts.
  2. MLB- Orioles NBA- Wizards NFL- Redskins NHL- Capitals I do believe that while being a die-hard fan of a team, you can appreciate another team in that same league. For instance, I love the Redskins, but my appreciation for another team can fluctuate. Currently, due do a player on the Rams who went to my high school (Rob Havenstien) I follow them a little bit, but I like the Ravens.
  3. I'm very indifferent about those gold pants. Sure they complete the look of the uniform, but I don't see them as necessary to the Rams.
  4. I honestly wasn't aware of it being a real argument. Another unpopular opinion I have is that I don't like how the Golden State Warriors current identity is as bad as the Washington Wizards current identity.
  5. Addressing the previous comments, I still wish Charlotte, New Orleans, and Utah all rotated nicknames when it was announced that Charlotte would take back the Hornets nickname. Charlotte Hornets Utah Bobcats New Orleans Jazz All three make logical sense. Now if the NBA could figure out the Wizards identity crisis.
  6. MLB teams need to bring back the pullover jerseys
  7. I think a lot of NFL teams would look better with matte or satin finished helmets.
  8. Perm ✓ Mustache ✓ Sweet sideburns ✓ The Holy Trinity is complete
  9. I never said I ranked them at 4. I simply said they were in the Top 4. Personally, I place them at 2 behind Minnesota and in front of Miami, Detroit, Jacksonville, Seattle, and Tampa Bay in that order. It's no secret that all redesigns have at least one flaw. Minnesota- number serif only showing up on the first number of double digits Cleveland- "BROWNS" woodmark on the pants Miami- Minimal use of orange (excluding color rush) Detroit- "LIONS" on one sleeve "WCF" on the other Jacksonville- the helmet Seattle- overusing the "feather" pattern Tampa Bay- "BUCS" on one sleeve the ship on the other, the "alarm clock" numbers Things that don't bother me about the redesigns: Minnesota- black facemask Cleveland- Outstretched sleeve stripes Miami- the logo Detroit- the color rush uniform Jacksonville- oddly enough, the helmet Seattle- "SEAHAWKS" inside the left outstretched sleeve stripe Tampa Bay- the oversized logo on helmet Things I wish was accomplished with each redesign: Minnesota- made the top sleeve stripes flat and both stripes wider Cleveland- smaller "CLEVELAND" woodmark Miami- block number font Detroit- "LIONS" on both sleeves Jacksonville- full black helmet, all teal color rush, use gold pants in normal uniform rotation Seattle- no unnecessary feather pattern helmet "stripe" Tampa Bay- no pewter jersey yokes
  10. I wish more MLB players chose to wear 99. As far as I know, only two current players wear it (Aaron Judge, Yankees & Daniel Robertson, Indians)
  11. The Cleveland Browns uniforms are great. I'd say they're in the Top 4 of Nike redesigned uniforms. I actually like the Jacksonville Jaguars helmet, but I'd prefer to see an all matte black helmet than an all gold helmet.
  12. #0 should be made available to incoming rookies and newly signed players on NFL teams during offseason activities and preseason, then those players can switch to "legal" numbers after cuts are made. NFLShop.com has rookie jerseys with #0
  13. Number retirements are good with me. I doubt it'll get to that point ever for a team, but how long until we see an NFL QB wearing 20 because a team has 1-19 retired. I think there would be a point where a team says "Maybe we should cool it on the number retirements."
  14. On baseball uniforms, I cannot stand when jerseys have numbers on one side and a logo on the other side on the front.
  15. I cannot stand when a pitcher has a single digit jersey number.
  16. Santana Moss as a New York Jet Jason Campbell as anything other than a Redskin Specifically, Campbell as a Raider and Bear are a strange sight due to the number choice.
  17. Double whammy considering his jersey number was something other than 81.
  18. Stripe inconsistencies on football uniforms aren't that important
  19. I like the thick collars on NFL jerseys. The Eagles and Broncos both look great with it. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Texans have the thick collar too. I'd take it over the shirt collar (Rams, Saints, Bengals) any day.
  20. The Chargers powder blue uniform is the worst current alternate in the NFL. I don't get the love for it. On the same subject of alternate uniforms, I wish more teams went with grey alternates. Currently, I think the Seahawks are the only team to do so. The Raiders, Redskins, and Saints are three teams off the top of my head that could pull it off. It's obvious the Raiders can, but for reference on the Redskins and Saints: Iowa State/Redskins: Colorado/Saints: (Swap the gray helmet with gold)
  21. THIS: Is a great look. This unpopular opinion is geared more towards the pairing of the helmet to the rest of the uniform. Somehow it works. I'd love for the Redskins to form a look around the stripeless grey facemasked helmets and this uniform is a great start.
