  1. I don’t want to see the death of color uniforms, but here we are- Dallas never rarely wears the navy jersey and damn near exclusively wears white. Hell, we have yet to see it this season and we’re halfway in. There’s a real shot we may not see it at all. “But Tradition!” Yeah, no thanks. It’s a shame because the Cowboys have a great set. They just ignorantly choose to turn away from the best part.
  2. Atlanta definitely should’ve saved their second throwback game for this week.
  3. Following suit with the Dolphins, 49ers, and Giants of having a home & away throwback set would be fantastic for Minnesota.
  4. It’s crazy they’ve gotten away with it for this long. My hope is that ownership will see how much the Oilers throwbacks are loved and they build a new set based off of them.
  5. We’re halfway through Year 6 of the current Titans set and it doesn’t seem like there’s any intention of them getting new uniforms.
  6. It was actually pretty hard to find any bad matchups outside of one particular nearly devoid of any color. Let’s get into it- Best Raiders @ Bears You cannot go wrong with two of the best classic uniforms. Just an absolutely beautiful ALL TIMER. Chargers @ Chiefs Stunning. Gorgeous. Sensational. The reds, yellows, and blue. Everything here is perfect. Dolphins @ Eagles Miami forgoing its throwback and wearing the most aqua it could was a great choice. The throwback kelly green from Philly and aqua complemented each other gracefully. Honorable Mention 49ers @ Vikings Should Minnesota have gone with white pants? Sure, but this definitely isn’t the worst all purple set they have in the closet. Colors work well together here under the lights. Worst Jaguars @ Saints For two teams that have such fantastic primary colors, they sure do know how to avoid them. Just hard to look at. Wild Card Browns @ Colts Alright, I don’t hate Indy’s alternate. I think it’s actually pretty good. They definitely could’ve gotten away with just tweaking the regular white helmet and/or using black socks, but it’s not a bad look. Cleveland looks great here. However, I think orange pants would’ve elevated this one. Have at it folks!
  7. It sure is funny when other athletic programs at these schools think they have absolutely any say and authority over the football programs. Football is the money maker and always will be.
  8. Definitely wasn’t the worst all purple option in Minnesota’s closet. Also, I noticed some players wearing black socks and I didn’t hate it.
  9. If this were to happen, I’d imagine they’ll stick with the new word mark and choose to roll out a more angular and squared off number font to match. Hell it wouldn’t surprise me if they went with a more modern Oregon-ish wing helmet.
  10. I hope Kyle Kuzma gets his Chris Sale moment with these
  11. It was interesting that some players on New England opted for the double red stripe white “socks”. I didn’t mind it. However, it reminded me of the very out of place triple blue striped socks on the last set.
  12. Lots of potentially great matchups this week. Buccaneers in pewter pants vs Bills in white pants and blue socks. Patriots silver pants vs Miami’s throwbacks Cleveland needs orange pants against Seattle’s throwbacks, but I wouldn’t be upset with white. Just absolutely no brown. Baltimore going with purple pants and black socks vs Arizona’s all red. Knowing all these teams, they’ll fudge it up and give us the worst possible combinations.
  13. Probably unpopular, but I don’t care that Miami didn’t wear throwbacks against New England & Philly. Wearing aqua pants really allowed the red and Kelly green to be showcased and created beautiful matchups under the lights.
  14. Some players wearing the white socks modified them to look like they have two red stripes.
  15. Nah, just new uniforms as a whole. Doesn’t matter if they’re kelly or midnight. Hell, do double green.
  16. So now we’re on the “throwbacks should be full time” cycle of the NFL season.
