19-76 20-23 It’s not difficult to continue saying it the same way. Obviously there’s nothing wrong with saying “two thousand twenty three” but it’s a relative mouthful compared to the other annunciation. Why get bent out of shape over how people want to say it? Toe-may-toe / Toe-mah-toe

Yeah no. I highly doubt there is or were people out there saying things like “I was born in one thousand nine hundred and seventy six.” Theres nothing wrong with saying “twenty twenty three” and the common vernacular of calendar years shouldn’t be changed now.

Washington really could’ve gotten away with keeping the WFT uniforms but swapping out the helmet for the new one. Instead they gave us mishmash trash. I want to like the new uniforms because Washington is my favorite team, but I really can’t. There’s some things within the set I want carried over whenever they change though. Like the “COMMANDERS” (sans lines) on the home jersey and “WASHINGTON” on the aways. I like the striping on the burgundy jersey as well. The diamond faux mesh could’ve been done a lot better. It’s fixable. For the things I hate, they could easily add stripes on the pants, the number font is junk, the heavy addition of black is atrocious. Especially the entire black alternate. They look like those non licensed knock off football toys in a dollar tree that are supposed to be the Steelers.

Now see, I like it somewhat on the Steelers considering it kinda makes up for the lack of logo on that side of the helmet. However, the pre 2019 Jets, the 2013-present Jaguars, and Chiefs (yes I know it’s a AFL logo because Lamar Hunt blah blah blah) can kick rocks.

I remember their first season as WFT, during a pregame show on TV a helmet graphic was used that featured a burgundy helmet with a white facemask and it truthfully didn’t look half bad IMO. I almost wish we got to see it in action

Their burgundy pants from a distance looked to only have a gold stripe which I loved.

It would be rather interesting to see the Titans rock some copper pants.

How would Washington look with UCLA stripes?

I’m wondering how long it’ll take before we get a Dolphins/49ers/Giants situation with Tennessee where they eventually roll out a second throwback to round out the set.

Okay? Doesn’t make it any less cool.
