You think schools like Tennessee or Miami can't get NIL deals for players without Deion?
I think we just interpreted the prompt “changed cfb forever” differently.
The big programs can absolutely portal pluck at insane rates, and Deion has opened the door for teams at that level.
But for programs at Colorado’s level and under, you’d need a lightning in a bottle coach to play that way.

You're forgetting the key ingredient to this formula - money. Colorado didn't get all those new players solely because Coach Prime is cool.
Very true. But Colorado’s not sniffing its current NIL fund if Deion wasn’t cool.

I think teams will try, but likely fail at replicating the Deion strategy.
Kids think Deion Sanders is cool, know his mentality due to his masterful media skills and want to play for him. He was pulling five stars to Jackson State. Nobody else could do that.
Texas State took in the second-most transfers, and are now struggling with the team on the nation’s longest losing streak, Nevada. (However, they did beat Baylor)
Teams will try, but I’d need to see multiple people who aren’t the one-of-a-kind Deion pull it off to say that will be the norm instead of the tried and true old school rebuild.- 1

Arizona effed up a perfect uniform set for no reason

White/Anthracite/White for Wazzu, no Crimson in a big game. Wonderful.

I’m liking this new template on the Steelers. It’s not perfect but you can actually see both white stripes on some players jerseys.
Massive improvement over when it was literally the top half of the stripe on every player.

I can’t believe the PAC-12 is dying in what could be its best year ever.
Everyone but the Arizona schools, Stanford and Cal are legit Top 25 quality good.
Plus Caleb, Bo Nix, Shadeur, Cam Ward, Penix, Cam Rising and DJ U all in the same league is NUTS. UCLA’s got a 5-star too who could be pretty good.

Seven wins at Colorado in year one would be an insane achievement. For most other coaches that’s a three year job at best.

For the life of me I don’t get why Colorado State didn’t go for two in the first overtime.
How could you see what your defense has done end of regulation + overtime and want them back on the field??
You had a chance to end the game! ITS LITERALLY TWO YARDS

Navy/Memphis looks great. Good distinct looks on both sides.

As a fan, Heat Culture looks dope on a jersey, but I don’t want to see that in a game for one simple reason.
It would look very stupid if you wore a jersey advertising your team’s culture and lost.
I felt the same way about the Rockets’ Clutch City uniforms. If you don’t come up big in the clutch, your uniforms are literally a lie.

I love it. The more the merrier.

It makes me sad that we never see basketball numbers above 50.
You have so much room to work with and you only choose a slim layer of it! I wanna see 73's 86's 59's 97's etc. all on the court. I think that'd look cool.

Think of all the draft picks you could get for trading for Josh Allen! And how good they could be! They might even be as good as Josh Allen!

That game was B1G as hell

I like division games Week 1, but only if everyone has to do it.
Same goes for conference games in college football.

This commercial has Dan Marino + Randy Moss in their teams’ modern uniforms- 4

I would also remind everyone of the McDonald's World Championship... basketball's equivalent of the FIFA Club Cup in the 80s and 90s. I went to the first ever championship game at the MECCA Arena and watched a bunch of Bucks bench players beat the holy hell out of the Soviets. They cancelled the series because the NBA teams they sent over, which usually weren't even the NBA champs, were beating the piss out of the best club teams Europe had to offer.
The 1990 Knicks needed overtime to beat Scavolini Pesaro, and the 1991 Lakers won by two (with an infamously friendly whistle) but by and large yes the games were uncompetitive.

At first glance the new Cardinals all-reds registered as the old uniforms, so I’d say they’re just as bad as what they replaced.
I take this back the old uniforms at least had something interesting to look at even if it was bad.
This just red. No thoughts. Just red. It sucks.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio doesn't believe that Deion Sanders would turn down an NFL job because of money, despite Deion's comments about never coaching in the NFL.
He also said he was called by God to be the head coach at Jackson State. Deion says a lot of things.

Josh McDaniels getting bailed out of a dumb field goal decision only to make that same decision two minutes later and twenty yards closer is quite something.
