In this video the purple and black don’t blend together at all on the side panels. 
 

Overall, I really like these. My favorite Kings look is the Chris Webber/Vlade Divac era, and these are as close as you can get to a modern update. 
 

However, that side panel stripe looks a lot like the Heat’s. Not a huge problem, but not something I can unsee either. 

While I do think seal on bedsheet designs are lame,  it’s hard to disagree that corporate art falls into similar traps. 
 

I think the solution lies somewhere in the middle, like California’s flag where you slap a detailed ass bear on it and call it a day. 

Miami got something back with Josh Richardson joining on the vet min. 
 

Haven’t heard much from him since we lost him the Jimmy trade, but Spo’s got such a good track record of getting guys to their full potential I’m intrigued. 
 

Elsewhere, Rockets dropped a massive deal on Fred VanVleet. Interested to see how he fits their timeline.

Going all in on tasteful candy stripes is a no-brainer, so this isn’t ideal for IU but I kind of like this look. 
 

I like that they finally righted the wrong of just the I on the helmet, it’s a unique helmet stripe and the pants are nice and clean as well, they balance each other nicely. 
 

The jerseys are pretty boring, and I’m not even wild about black as an accent color, but I still think overall this is a good look. 

Since we’re never getting the toothpaste of Jazz/Pelicans/Mardi Gras/Purple back in the tube, I think the Pels’ earned uniforms were the right way to go for the brand. 
 

If done right a whole set based on these would go crazy. 
 

De La Cruz also stole a base, making his cycle a Motorcycle (stole the term from Twitter)

I’ve also thought of tracking a touchdown cycle in football where a player gets a passing, rushing, receiving and return touchdown in the same game, but idk if it’s ever happened.

I am beyond floored that DaBaby booked an arena show half a year after he literally couldn’t give his own tickets away at a Cheesecake Factory. 
 

I really like those helmets as a helmet, but I don’t see a reason why they should ever see the field. They’re too modern for a throwback snd too throwback for a modern. 

I actually really liked these one-off helmets. I think they’d be upper tier in cfb if used full time.

New Western Kentucky uniforms. Points for stripes on helmets, jersey and pants, minus big points for keeping the chrome helmets around.

I agree these uniforms are meh but they are leagues above the Cavs Cs and Raps’ NORTH

They have the team name on them (even Nuggets is in the side stripe!) and are the same colors as the court. Consider the bare minimum checked. 

I can see these Nuggets having a Spurs type run since none of these players are going anywhere. 

This rules. 
 

Wish it didn’t have to come against us but that’s one hell of a team Denver’s got. After all the bad takes about the Nuggets defense this year to see them win that way was dope. 
 

We could have played better sure but this is about as good as we could have done at the end of a long playoff run down two rotation players, and this run is some if the most fun I’ve ever had as a sports fan. 
 

Jokic has no equal right now. None. 
 

It’s so awesome to see Aaron Gordon and Bruce Brown reach their full potential too. 

Might as well at this point. I think the Heat’s guard play this series has put any of the “They’re better without Herro” talk to bed.

The only saving grace is that at least the Nuggets' City jersey just looks like an alternate universe Nuggets brand, albeit a dull one. Some of these wacky, totally off-brand City jerseys could've ended up in the finals and that would've been even worse... though we may never recover from the Cavs' title t-shirts.

Nothing will be worse to me than a closeout game of the Finals where neither team had their city or team name on their jerseys

Denver in white city edition homes (no clue if the court will match) vs Miami in red.

Surprised Miami went back to red, we typically switch it up after a road loss.
