  1. Even though the Lakers went to seven finals (and won five of them) in their current uniforms, I kinda wish they'd come up with a new set to signify a new era of Lakers Basketball.  Maybe they could even bring back the giraffe in some way. Keep the home golds though!

Another unpopular opinion: I like the Hollywood Nights sleeved jerseys.  Ouch.

I actually wouldn't mind WRs number range be expanded to 10-29,80-89. That or just do 20-29,80-89. Leave 10-19 to QBs and K/P. Something about a WR jersey number in the 20s just looks awesome.

Fred and Cliff would agree.  Charley and Paul would disagree since they both wore the same number (as did Ronnie on defense). ?

yeah, they've been a navy team with red logos and trim forever, then suddenly theyre an all red team with red logos and silver trim, with a tiny bit of navy accents.. they've established the red look by now, but for so long it felt so wrong..

They've won their only championship in their current unis so they probably won't be changing them anytime soon.  Superstition?  The Giants go to cream home unis and win three.  Hmm...

And yeah...I just can't see the A being any color other than red...at least on the official merchandise.

    My favorite Angels uniform

Would seriously love a TBTC to this era, but doubt it happens since they didn't acknowledge it during their 50th anniversary season

I still have this jersey...Anaheim patch and all.  It was made by Russell Athletics.  I also have the alternate with the periwinkle sleeves.  Yikes!

  5. I agree about those Cavs uniforms; im in the minority when I say I love my NBA unis to be a bit "plain"...or clean in this instance. The blue alternate's lettering needs to be fixed IMHO though.

Speaking of thing out of Cleveland, I'm okay with the Rams using the St. Louis colors for a few years until their new stadium is built. I waited 21 years for the return of the team; I can wait three years for a new logo and uniform set.

That's sad, and a little haunting being a Raiders fan. Man, I feel for St. Louis fans, but at the same time I am happy for LA fans getting their team back.

Fans in St. Louis are saying they shouldn't fly that Super Bowl banner in LA...all while ignoring the fact most of the division championships (and those two NFL championships) were won in LA and Cleveland. Pot meet kettle.

I hope the LOS ANGELES Rams win a Super Bowl in LA soon so that StL (former) fans can shut up about that. Kinda like I had wished the Patriots had finished undefeated that year to shut up the 1972 Dolphins.

Moving towards baseball, the Los Angeles Dodgers almost got caught up in the late-1990s fad of faux-vest jerseys started by their SoCal rivals, the Angels. As it states, it almost made it onto the field the point of having it sold in their concession stands.

I still have my replica version of this uniform...but like a fool,I added some screen printed numbers on it. I wonder if I can remove them without having damaging the jersey?
  8. Is it an unpopular opinion to think the Phillies looked best during the 70s-80s in their maroon and white jerseys? I especially liked the "P" logo, and maroon isn't a color seen anywhere else in the MLB right now.

I agree as well. The powder blue road uniforms though? I don't know...
