So are we just waiting for the Eagles to officially release the kelly green at this point?

Maybe if i saw it with navy pants (and a normal collar) it'd be acceptable.
They did wear a normal collar during the final years of the old set

Cannot for the life of me understand the nostalgia for the old Seahawks uniforms, by the way. All they make me think of is when the Seahawks were a forever-.500 team that everyone forgot about, an adjunct to the old AFL West that never fit and never mattered. They're the St. Louis Football Cardinals without the historical cachet, but unlike the Cardinals' efforts, the Seahawks' tweaks have been vast improvements. I don't think the current uniforms get everything right, nor did the 2000s set, but the '80s/'90s set doesn't really get anything right. But people seem very positive about it, so maybe I have no clue what I'm talking about on this one.
The way I've always seen it is look at how that specific team's fanbase reacts to it. It doesn't really matter what a Vikings or Jets fan thinks of them, as long as Seattle fans love them (which seems to be the case). I know a lot of people on here also hate the Seahawks regular set but Seattle fans love them also

Odds are if the Bills bring this back it'll probably be worn with the all red uniform

- Not really, not when there's so much good content on TikTok
- You sure?
- Yeah
- The Cubs are wearing blue shirts with blue pants

It's more like "I live in Chicago Southside and I don't watch baseball, but damn that Southside jersey is sick! I think I need to get that to wear around." Once you realize most of the City Connects (and the NBA City jerseys) are more to be worn as city/region pride streetwear, it makes a lot more sense. It's about selling jerseys to people who don't particularly want what a team is currently wearing. Some of them still fail in this regard IMO, but most make more sense as streetwear.

Of all the City Connects so far, these are the ones that I would classify as "good" or better:
- Red Sox
- Marlins
- White Sox
- Mariners
- Angels
- Rockies
- Braves
- Astros
- Royals
Some could use tweaks, but overall I think they're good. The rest are anywhere from "meh" to "garbage"

That’s their rebrand for next year. They’re going to wear those monochrome greys both home and away and change their name to “Detroit Big Grey Blob”. They will receive ALL the fire emojis.
I'll give this joke a solid 1/10

Huskies have gone straight downhill since leaving Nike for Adidas...guess thats the norm though
I'd say Adidas overall has been a slight upgrade for the Huskies, since they had the common sense to completely get rid of black

I knew they wouldn't wear blue against the Raiders on MNF. Would've been a great looking matchup.
Lions in blue vs both Raiders and Vikings would have been gorgeous. I think wearing them against Denver or Carolina would have been better options

I think that's basically the case. At least it was for the Panthers because wearing the black helmet with the black jerseys took away one of their blue jersey games.
Once again, the Panthers designated their all-black look as the color rush, which is an alternate. I'm saying if the Panthers wanted to wear black/black/silver, let them. If the Texans want to try the red helmet with the white jersey, let them. My proposal is you can wear the alternate helmet with home, away, or alternate jerseys, but it still counts as one of your 3 alternate games regardless of the jersey. I'm encouraging mix and match, but only for 3 games a season. It's stupid that the Bengals created their road uniform to match the white helmet, but can't wear the white helmet with that jersey because it's not an alternate, which is why they had to bring back the old color rush

Didn’t the Miami ASG only have orange and blue hats with that bubbly looking material? Maybe I’m misremembering.
There was this set...which I don't think was really ever worn, which was in blue and orange:
But the 2017 ASG also had team color hats in this pattern, which were pretty nice though seemed to be better for the LA game than the Miami game:
Yeah idk what the blue hat was. They had black hats for the derby, and then the gold logos for the game. Not my favorite year of the uniform ASG hats. I was a much bigger fan of 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2019 hats

My unpopular opinion for alternate helmets is I think having them be only worn with alternate jerseys is stupid. Just enforce the "3 games for alternates" rule, but wearing the alternate helmet or jersey counts. Mix and match how you please, but you get 3 games total and that's it, so choose wisely

Team color All Star hats are the way to go. Not sure why they don't just have individual jerseys for the game and special hats, I think that would be a much better deal.
From 2014-2019 that was what they did and it was a great way to still keep the wonderful assortment of looks while also connecting to the city they were playing in. Some were better than others, but I enjoyed that era of ASG looks (I'm still punching myself for not getting the panel front Twins hat from 2014)

Lions wore blank light blue helmets from 1950-55. My guess is that will be the shell but not sure as what the logo will be, if any. (ALT HMT is blue…Lions trying to be clever)
The stripe where "June 21" is is the same stripe as on the blue pants, which is the same style as the regular helmet. My guess is just a recoloring of the silver helmet but with white elements instead of blue, with the team pulling a panthers and making the all-blue look the color rush to pair the helmet with

My prediction is that the only change they will make is changing the script on their road and Kelly Green alt from Oakland to Las Vegas.
Wouldn't be surprised if they pull a Chargers and change the green to kelly green full time when they move

When I say the gray is useless, I'm speaking specifically about the gray jersey. The gray pants are pretty much the only pants they need, and one of the only ways this dumpster fire of a uniform set can be tolerable.
They need to get a rebrand underway ASAP, but in the meantime can pull their current look out of the bottom 5 by wearing only gray pants with the navy and white jerseys. And wearing the throwback as often as the rules allow.
Unpopular opinion, the Seahawks actually have a pretty solid modern look that the city has latched onto. My only real complaint is the grey and white pants need some green in them so they fit with the blue jersey more. I just went through the gridiron database, and there's at least 11 teams I would change before I got to the Seahawks

Not even close, the Cardinals and Bengals looked way more outdated before their redesigns than the current Seahawks will look in 20 years. The only things that really need a small update to keep that set looking nice are getting rid of the design inside the numbers and adding teal to the white and grey pants.
