I think that's one of the few matchups that you can't go wrong with either combo. Classic logos, classic unis - home and road. It's too bad the field didn't turn into a giant mud pit....stupid modern technology and drainage systems LOL

I know it's gimmicky as hell, but I absolutely adore that set for the Patriots. Wish this matchup was Patriots in blue vs packers in white for color contrast reasons, would've been an absolute beauty, though what we got is nothing to sneeze at. Really hope the Patriots bring this set back as a throwback at some point. A perfect encapsulation of '90s uniform trends without going too over the top.
The thing that made them work so well were the huge shoulder pads players wore and they made that giant Flying Elvis logo pop

Better than that we got, but Seattle's 00s road unis were >> their homes. Wish the Steelers had let them wear them in SB40.

I like the "what ifs" regarding the indoor Super Bowls and what they could've looked like if played outdoors.

I wasn't happy with the endzone script so I touched them up a bit

Here's another concept for next year's Super Bowl
I think you're right on it with this one. From California palm trees in this years Super Bowl logo to Arizona desertscape for next year's. Nice job!

Bengals endzone could have been better,
I agree. I especially noticed how much empty space there was in the Bengals endzone on that last drive by the Rams. But all in all, it really was one of the best looking fields since XLIV.

Looks like you can see the outline of the Tampa Bay letter between the bottom of the Bills' I and where Hostetler is reaching the ball.
Thinking about this some more, there was only one week between the conference title games and this Super Bowl. And with the onset of the Gulf War they probably didn't get to do the normal prep for a Super Bowl field.

Het @pitt6pack, something I noticed watching some Super Bowl highlights. Looking at the Giants end zone in Super Bowl XXV, you can see the "Tampa Bay" wordmark bleeding through a bit. Not so much in the Bills end zone though. I've never noticed that before, especially seeing Norwood's kick seemingly every year this time of year.

No. The Broncos would've won that game in a freaking rout. That all-time 49ers team, loaded with a dozen or so hall of famers, would've had no chance vs Elway and his innovative shovel pass that day HAD THEY ONLY CHOSEN TO WEAR WHITE!
Thanks for almost making me spit out my coffee. WTF, they ran that F@#%ing shovel pass THREE times in one drive - Humphrey busted loose for 20+ yards, then Elway hit him in the back on another, then the last one was batted up in the air that Elway spiked to avoid an int. If only they ran it a dozen more times they might have won that game

At this point it wouldn't surprise me if they paint a white outline around the Chiefs wordmark and paint the endzone red
