It's al just for fun guys, anything for a laugh. Not really fishing DC Corky, actually thought only Dolts fans might take it seriously. And like it or not, stats do matter, especially record-breaking ones. But really I was just going for a laugh (see my sig) .......
Because of COURSE the Colts will, in time, be the obviously "correct" uniform for Peyton Manning. Right now while the Super Bowl and his retirement are fresh, a good chunk of your 99% might pick Denver though ...........
Bert Jones "who?" What are you, 16? It's debates like these you wish you had an expert handy ... maybe like a Bill Belichick to school youngsters such as yourself.
At the very least Bert Jones was League MVP in 1976, though he managed just a 9-year 96 start injury plagued - errr ravaged - career. Lost to the Steelers 3x in the playoffs.

And MY POINT IS that the Colts were crazy-lucky to be in position to draft like that - in fact, the Colts have had more #1 overall picks than any team - seven - a whopping SIX of which have come in the Super Bowl era, plus an additional TWELVE Top 5 picks in the Super Bowl era. How the QBs turned out is a different story - some, like Elway, their own fault: Frank Kush was a ball-breaker, plus he quit the next season anyway, pouting because Irsay wouldn't move the team to Arizona.
First they had Johnny Unitas for 16 years
These 5 picks, all but George labeled to some extent "best of generation."
Plus Art Schlichter 4th overall
12 other Top 5 picks
