  1. Just discovered D3 school Lesley Lynx. Cool blue-grey and lime green combo, like Seahawks of 2012.
  2. You all realize we have two threads for this??? Damn it, I was hoping for Black Pearls with a cool pirate theme. The baseball mitt logo is cool, but otherwise meh. I can't help but think Brandiose has a say in the team name. Instead of "this is what the fans voted, design it", it seems like "hey, that's an option, we can do something fun with that". The Black Pearls name got a lot of support it seems, it would be interesting to see the final vote. So the Fresno team is getting new branding soon, is that it then for baseball this year?
  3. Too many teams in MLB have navy, none have brown. The Padres should have it. As for the second color, I don't care. Maybe powder blue or teal? (real teal, not Mariners green). I'm probably the only person who liked VA Tech's pink vs. Syracuse orange. I would like VA Tech overall if they had a team name I liked.
  4. Misspelled "they're" above....oops. I was hoping they would change it officially. So many of these alternate team names/branding are better than the standard team names/branding.
  5. I got one: the Cherry Poppers! Let's see what Brandiose does with THAT! Seriously though, this team name is taking a long time. Still hoping for TCBP.
  6. I didn't know we could post sports ideas in here! I have a few: One-on-one handball: Smaller court, smaller ball. Three goals instead of one, sort of like Quidditch. Players would switch between offense and defense. Competitive trash can basketball: two on two in a square room, small trash can in each corner, two cans for each team. The paper ball cannot be dribbled obviously, but walls and ceiling could be used to pass and for bank shots. An extra element of this is to play with rolling office chairs instead of running/standing. That could add a hockey element to it. Paper baseball: pitching a paper ball from a few feet away, cardboard tube used as a bat. Played in a gym. Mini golf + field hockey: Instead of goals there would be cups at the ends of the court. No fixed goalie, but players could try to block shots with stick. Shots would have to be taken outside of goal crease. The court could also have obstacles like blocks, hills, etc. I would also like to see more sports played under black light with flourescent elements in the uniforms.
  7. Alien Baseball or Football League. We have the Solar League, but this would be more different types of aliens from other worlds, like in sci-fi movies. Wild colors mixed with silvers and blacks, example black and neon green or slate and tech/light blue. Fonts for logos and uniforms would somehow be like alien languages but still be readable in English.
  8. I would love those old WJ colors today! New Pecos League team has the 80s Phillies colors, but terrible team name. http://www.wascoreserves.com/wasco.asp?page=14
  9. Anyone have any info on Baylor getting all new uniforms next year? sounds like my beloved neon is going away
  10. I was going to post this. Though I like the mono navy better, I like how the green pops more.
  11. Black Pearls colors could be blackish red and a light pewter. Awww hell yeah!
  12. Black pearls all the way!!! I would love to see a black cherry color in baseball, that would be very unique.
  13. I want to see pullover jerseys make a comeback! With thick stripes on the sleeves and on the top of the pants
  14. I discovered I created a different account on here, forgot about that. I use that login and it works fine.
  15. I think an all-white uniform only looks good in baseball. Any other sport I want to see full color.
  16. If it's Booyah and looks good I'm an instant fan. But it probably won't.
  17. Aaaaand another red and blue team! It's Texas, no surprise. And what's with the thick Flintstone outlines?
