here are my concepts for the two LA teams:
basically used the old san diego logo and combined it wit h the old LA cursive wordmark. also put that design from the logo onto the corners of the court. kinda like how they did it on the shorts of the unis. (i think this court is a big step up from the original san diego court i made 2 years ago lol)
old lakers font with stars (just like the jersey) and i replaced the gold with blue since the jerseys are more focused on purple and blue. also used the same exact star pattern from the 2018 all star game for an added touch. then i added a star on the bottom with 49 which is the year of the lakers first championship

NOLA, the Clippers and the Wolves could totally build new identities around these jerseys. They are beautiful.
I think even the Nets could if they'd go back to navy and red.
totally agree. especially on the pelicans part. the fan base has been dying for a new jersey set especially since they teased it a while back. the fan base has been pretty heated about how we keep getting jerseys that could work as a main set but never get jerseys that are actually special
Spoilerid also add the grizzlies to that list. i'm honestly surprised their main two jerseys arent around the same design as the baby blue statement jersey (and this years city jersey)

here's a court concept for my pelicans. i'm biased so of course i also made a 3d model for this court too
it's based off the new orleans hornets court with the two color keys and the nola logos. also added a fleur de lis pattern for some added detail.

chaotic sounds like what a new orleans jersey would be however our reputation with jersey designs make me predict that we'll probably just have something the complete opposite and basic. especially if that 2k leak turns out to be true.
unfortunately i was right

new hornets city editions leaked so here's my court concept for it before the official one releases. basically a more modern and sleek take on the classic court. unfortunately i couldn't find the cursive wordmark anywhere so i just used the current one. i also felt generous and made a 3d version.

i think the overall look from a distance is cool. but when you look at the details it's just too much. there's a gradient with a honeycomb pattern, that's cool. but then you have pinstripes running through all of that. and then two different fonts (a classic and a modern.) and then striped arm holes and a collar. everything just clashes with each other.

i swear i was about to guess charlotte. but i didn't think they would do anything more outside of pin stripes. but yea those jerseys are... something

my random guess is the magic. maybe they'll try to do something with stars all over the jersey but even busier

sorry for the inactivity, really appreciate the feedback @vtgco!

here is my attempt at making a court design for the rebranded Jazz. pretty much all i could really do based off their social media marketing posts. i did manage to rip the new "Take Note" logo off of a real life picture and apply it here though lol
details: music note pattern throughout the outside. new retro font, new take note logo, all black jazz logo, bottom slogan stripe for added color

since we're on the topic of the color black, i would like to mention how many black painted courts there are in the league. the jazz are just going to add more to the pile if they go with a black painted court
Spoilernow jazz:

maybe it's just me but i feel like the jazz's colors have always given me a nature-y vibe outside of the pistol pete purple green and gold (which are obviously just mardi gras colors from new orleans)
to me i always correlated their colors with nature kinda like milwaukee with their forest green. which is why black and white out of all things just feels so incredibly out of place for a utah team. i just don't see the fit
like this is just a sad picture to look at

wow that is just terrible. they really managed to suck the soul out of that team. if they like black so much i don't see why they can't just rebrand themselves into red rock and have the black redrock city jersey be one of their main jerseys.

new court for the mavericks. for the past three years there have been three different court designs (excluding alternates). this time its an all blue painted court but with players' names painted on
- 2
-
slight changes for the timberwolves court. baselines text is smaller (says minnesota on both sides now) and they removed the lines in the paint.

I believe the White "NOLA" is their 18-19 earned edition.
in a way yes. nola did indeed have a white jersey that said "nola" but it had three big stripes going across. which of course we don't see in the 2k pic
(gotta say, i miss these jerseys)

anyone noticed the summer league unis are using the teams tertiary colors to compliment the primary colors?
bucks with green and black
pistons with blue and grey
pelicans with navy and red (golds the secondary color if anyone's wondering)
hawks with red and black (you would expect yellow)
and the trailblazers straight up decided to be black and white.
(the list goes on)

here's a throwback inspired pistons court. i'm gonna start doing some anniversary themed courts since it's the nba 75th anniversary. as you can see there's the diamond colored logo up top i'll be using that for the anniversary courts.

Regarding the Jazz news: I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I honestly would’ve rather taken my chances on the mashup uniform than keep the redrock around again. I’m just….done with that theme.agreed. and that's coming from a redrock lover i feel at this point if they wanna bring it back then they should go all out and make it a main set or just replace the statement yellows. otherwise it's time for it to go. the jazz might be the only team i've seen whos kept the same "theme" of their city jerseys since the day city jerseys became a thing in 2017. closest team behind is the pelicans who had mardi gras jerseys up to this season

my pelicans just got their first official g league team. so here's this court concept i made for the Birmingham Squadron
some slapped on sponsors:
it pretty much is just a rebranded version of the original pelicans court

pelicans got themselves some new logos for the g league team
(the secondary logos are shown in the video on their website)

^heres the current statement jerseys for comparison
personally like this one more. keeps the deer while going all out with stripes.

went on here cause i just knew their would be a hot discussion about the bucks uniforms tonight.
it's a statement jersey, i see absolutely nothing wrong with it. it's one of their colors, and the design is nothing new or out of the brand.

i'm digging these new draft hats. some look better than others
like what's up with indiana's? isn't that just their logo?
and why did they do utah like this lol

pretty cool. idk what i was expecting i kinda thought they'd do something involving the color gold or cursive. but that's probably me just thinking of the old nba finals logos
also if anyone has a full transparent background png image of it please post or send i could use it for some concepts i'm working on

here's my court for the nets. wanted to use the modern grey wood but combine it with the old throwback colors. thought it'd pair nicely. also combined the old and current logo for the center court logo
and here for the suns i guess is a new and improved version of the court i made last year for the suns. i used multiple fonts for the court like how the leaked jerseys did. but apparently those were scrapped
