2. Also realized I just don't like the flaming thumbtack logo at all. The flames make helmet stripes awkward, other than the short tapered stripes on the originals or a very thin stripe like on the current. The secondary is at least a better logo.
I share this opinion strongly, I've always thought the 'flame trail' made a decent logo really tacky (pun intended?).
Not necessarily a suggestion for what you should do; but I think the simple stylized T in some configuration or the roundel itself would be a much better helmet/ primary logo.
I also fully agree with the removal of their way-too-dark matte grey, even though I respect them for trying something a little different, it just doesn't mesh well in reality.

Great work as always. Really love the mountain design on the primary.
As an aside, your work on these state soccer league series has inspired me to go back and redo my Georgia Soccer League that I posted on here back in late 2016-early 2017. Stay tuned for that sometime in May.
Eventually, we'll have the whole continental US finished

My goodness, these concepts are INCREDIBLE! These team/kit aesthetics are really putting up a fight across the Columbia
These first four teams are so crisp, and Walla Walla (even if the W monogram seems a liiiittle phallic, in my opinion) & Ballard are my favorites so far. I'm looking forward to the rest of the teams as well as the design explanations for these!
I probably know as much about Washington state as you do, but you should definitely do a Bavarian-style team for Leavenworth
Thank you so much! I really, really enjoy your CSL and Oregon League series so this praise means a lot!
Now that you mention the phallic nature of the Walla Walla logo I can't unsee it . I think I'll keep it and rivals can make fun of them for years to come. Also, I had to create the obligatory Onion team.
With regard to Leavenworth, I stumbled across the town's Wikipedia page while researching locations and I had a similar idea. A Swiss/Bavarian style team is definitely the move there.

I should also mention, for my uniforms I'm using a template I (re)created for newer jersey cuts that are sketched based on @raysox's newer template that I'm not sure he ever released (which can be found here). Anyway, I took the basic shape and design and created versions with newer jersey designs in mind for the major manufacturers as you'll see throughout the series.
Also, like GiantsFan, I will use Soccer unless otherwise stated just to maintain continuity.

I'm back to start yet another series I probably won't finish...
This series is obviously heavily inspired by the ongoing 'Alabama Soccer League' by @RevNet and the 'Oregon League' by @TheGiantsFan. Huge fan of both series! I, like GiantsFan, recently moved to the PNW (Seattle specifically) and to learn more about my new surroundings and give myself a creative outlet/project in my free time, I decided to create a soccer league for the state.
I'm not going to commit myself to a certain number of teams at the outset but I would like to complete somewhere between 30 and 50 teams all original and all in (or nearly in) the state of Washington.
The teams are going to be somewhat realistically spread across the state with larger population centers getting more teams with some surprises here and there to allow a little more creative agency.
Will likely upload a map here once I complete 10 or more teams

You guys are just too good at guessing my intentions.
Here is design option #2 of 3. Based on the Memphis Southmen of the 1970's World Football League, but with influences from several other Bear (particularly bear head) logos, including the Memphis Grizzlies NBA, U. of Montana, and about 4-6 others. Those of you who remember my WFL redux will likely see the elements from that project in this one.
Tomorrow I will reveal the 3rd and final identity option, which comes to us from a relatively recent design. The actual voting on the USFL Lives website will also start probably over the weekend or Mon/Tue at the latest.
Going against the grain here to say I actually like this one alot, it's a unique look even if it is a little odd.
The pumas is also a great redux of Sacramento's logo IRL. however, as neo-pranksters mentioned, it may be hard to get the green light from Michigan.

Personally, I enjoy it when cities house sports teams that have a motif or throughline so this is cool to see.
The first logo was a good jumping-off point for what became a great logo, the revisions/ updates you made were perfect. Even though this is quite similar to the Seahawks I think it is still unique and honestly looks more at home in the NHL than the Kraken, in my opinion at least.

big big fan of the new Machine look.
The Skyhawks logo also looks great while the unis look of that time while still aesthetically pleasing.

Big fan of pretty much all of these. Baseball teams look good in football unis. I think my favorites may be the Rangers, KC, and Tampa Bay. The white sox and Yankees also look really good.
My only tweak might be trying to flip Toronto's logo on the helmet but I can see why you wouldn't as it may look weird/ mess up the logo.

I like the uniforms for Las Vegas, but I think I'd prefer the snake head logo to the LV logo on the helmet. Nothing against that logo, but 'letter' logos that aren't symmetrical end up with logos facing opposite directions on either side, which can be problematic.
The guardian gator is an interesting idea. A bit on the weird side, but so is naming an Orlando team Guardians to begin with haha. I can get behind it. Agreed the gator could use some tweaks but it's a solid start.
Good point, I didn't think about that.

Yea, I'm really struggling with the Guardians, I have a few sketches but nothing seems to work.

I might after the other teams are more or less complete. I doubt the Boomers will actually be a real football team ever but it could be fun.
