Utah should've stopped while they were ahead:

The general consensus on these boards is that the Cowboys need to pick between one shade of blue and on shade of silver. Most prefer the road combo of navy blue and flat silver, but that's not what fans think of when it comes to Dallas:
Compare those to these:
...and it's no question. The navy and silver looks good, but it's not Dallas.
In an attempt to fix that, I've decided to see what it would look like if Dallas used the silver-blue on their pants everywhere else that they use silver.

Two more quick mock-ups for the Jags, one traditional and on akin to the Bengals's recent rebrand.

What does that leave us with? Looks like the numbers, which I did think were pretty alright for what they were (even though they infernally made them black on the teal jersey for some reason), though I prefer the current ones, and even moreso the original cool cat font from '97. Take that, add black and gold details on the cuffs, put a crawling cat on the sleeve, stick with the all-black helmet, and put a tri-colored stripe on the pants. Now there's a uniform. Great work by the salvage unit.

Throw some teal sock on that baby and you've got an average NFL set. Throw some stripes on the pants and double outlines on the numbers and you've got the Jags original set (top tier).

Just because they have them on a mannequin(s) doesn’t mean that they have a full roster’s worth of inventory (plus considerable extras) in the EQ room. They may well be something that the team plans to actually wear at some point, but it’s very possible they don’t physically have the inventory right now for one reason or another.
IIRC, this was the same reason the the Rams cited in 2020 for not being able to wear the yellow pants until midseason.

I can't believe how you guys overthink this. The original is Sr. (or I), the second generation is Jr. (or II)., and the third generation is III, and so on. If said player wants to add that to hs nameplate, it is their legal right to do so. The whole point of a suffix is to differentiate said person from the father of the same name, and the whole point of a personal brand is to differentiate yourself from other players (and make money), so they work hand in hand.
In the case of Darius, it is a bit odd that he wants to be mononymously "Slay", but proceed to have "Slay Jr." on the nameplate, but then again, "Slay" is his preferred name, while "Slay Jr." is his legal suffix, similar to how Dick Vitale's prefffered name is "Dick", but his legal name is "Richard."

Well, he is a highly successful NFL head coach - just ask him
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/packers-mike-mccarthy-calls-himself-a-highly-successful-nfl-coach-at-4-5/McCarthy got carried by a stellar defense and an all-time QB to one SB win, which is the only reason he still has a job (that, and the fact that Jerry can push him around). If anything, Dallas should make Dan Quinn the head coach, just out of fear of losing him to another team.

I haven't seen any Giants this year. Are they for real? Or is it a "soft" 5-1?
Relatively. They have a really solid defense, Brain Daboll and Wink Martindale are squeezing overachieving play out of them, and Saquon is carrying Daniel Jones and the offense.

This was my first time watching Fields play. Looked like every single play was a fire drill - hard to say if it was because the Bears receivers suck, Washington's defense is great, or Fields doesn't know what he's doing and has to run just to compensate for his own lack of football acumen.
He's obviously a great athlete, but that only lasts until your first major knee injury or till you hit a certain age. If their offense is built on his ability to scramble and run because the he can't make the right reads, that's going to be a disaster for the Bears - which seems par for the course for them. I think the league is better when the legacy teams are great - and unfortunately it's been a long time for the Bears, and doesn't seem to be changing any time soon.
The shame of it is that the Eagles have shown that a crafty GM - one who's a legit accountant and not a "football guy" - can turn it around on a dime - even when saddled with a QB on a huge contract and other 1st-round mistakes. The Bears need one those types of GMs.
Justin Fields is who we thought Lamar Jackson was pre-2019. Great athlete, but subpar accursacy, arm strength, and passing IQ. That won't work in the playoffs, and eventually that style if play will fail when teams stop the running game, or as you mentioned, that player gets old and/or gets hurt.
Also, the Bears recievers aren't terrible. They have Equimenous St.Brown, Darnell Mooney, and Cole Kmet at TE, three decent pass catchers. It's his IQ or his lack of trust in said recievers. He missed this open receiver and took a nine yard sack on this play:

Was it just me, or did the stripes on the Commies sleeves look off-white?

Buffalo BIlls
- Red helmet returns, using blue facemask from 1984-86.
- Striping pattern is taken from the 1986-2001 set, worn when the Bills took 4 straight trips to the Super Bowl in the mid 90's.
- Red socks retrun to match red helmet.
- 1960's throwback is the lone holdover from the IRL set.

That would be great. The biggest problem is that the most likely person to become the new owner is Tanya Snyder... who is the one that designed the uniforms.
if the league gets rid of Dan, surely they won't let his wife run the team. There's too much potential for a puppet owner scheme there, and even if Tanya isn't a pushover, Dan would still have some influence.
They have to (and if the league does) will go out together.

White over teal leggings is back. They’re definitely running with a similar MO to last year when it comes to combinations. Can only imagine who’s pulling those strings. Hopefully they’re just trying to spice up the final days of this set before switching to something more solid and consistent.

What's with the birds in the background? There's 5 birds NFL teams, I don't see why Jacksonville feels the need to incorporate them.

All y'all's points become moot when Joe Burrow fires a 9 yard missile into the BACK JUDGE'S solar plexus.
I haven't heard about any confusion when they first debuted these in 2016, and they've worn them every year since (up until last year, of course). I doubt the helmet makes a difference, gibven that the ref wears a black hat.

I live near Fort Worth; and while it doesn't matter to me, many people in Arlington (and throughout Tarrant County) take great offense to their area being called "Dallas."
Why? They are stuck in between a major city and a B-level major city, so it's almost impossible to have thier own identity. i recently visited Dallas (and AT&T Stadium for that matter) and the city lines are almost blurred.

They basically did their best impression of the Oakland A’s that they possibly could’ve in the way they tried to intentionally make it worse over the years. The Pro Bowl was just fine the way it was after the Super Bowl in Hawaii, but they insisted they were going to “make it better”, when everyone kinda knew they were just trying to intentionally tank any and all interest in it.I dunno. I’m probably the only one out there that’s sad about this. I’ve been to seven Pro Bowls with my dad and they were all fun (well, the last one we went to in AZ was garbage, but that was post rule changes). It was a pretty fun little event that the NFL just insisted they were going to completely ruin, so, whatever I guess
Why? @Sport just said that the game was getting better ratings than the NBA Finals, so I don't see any reason for the NFL to trash a money-maker.
