Sounders to announce the new kit sponsor this Friday. We've deducted its not Multicare, or Providence. (That last one was actually floating around a bit.) Current contenders Kaiser Permanente, and Swedish Health. It could be the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, but the leaked photo of the jersey earlier doesn't leave that much room for all that.

OL had a 3d kit a few years back that was pretty popular, and with the Japan WC kits the Minn one has the chance of being a real banger!

The jackets look like they have a different type of fabric on each side no?

Based off the 2 different colors of the cinci and ATL jackets, it looks like MLS is getting the reversable anthem jacket like the world cup teams.

Sounds like there is indeed a jersey sponsor change for the Sounders this season. With the "ever popular" Zulily logo going away. Unless they are able to get something bigger done by the start of the year, it sounds like it will be a small splash in terms of a sponsor. I'm hedging my bets on Delta Airlines.

Exactly this. Color choices were mainly driven by the Hendrix family pushing for a bit more pop and color.

Seattle actually has some newer non-Adidas stripe blue shorts as well this year. They had em on display at the Training center unveiling with both sets of this years jerseys. Either way

Its important to remember teams have the ability to pick a few details from the authentics to carry over to the replicas. I think Seattle was told 2-3 parts. (stars not included or teamstore has worked non-stop the night before when jerseys arrive to add stars to all of them) Stars should be on all the kits and have the ability to but most teams/ team stores i guess dont put in that extra effort

Pretty sure that was just for the photo shoot. Like the away kit they just put a larger crest over the old one. Seattle's new keeper kits should arrive by first kick per the teamstore today

It looked like a marketing photo a website had. Basically like the mockup (The middle stripe one) Hendo made except the checkers went from bigger to small (middle to the sides)

If the photo I just saw is indeed it. The new Sounders home kit is absolutely fantastic.

Per that crew screen grab from the video it looks like teams with stars on their jerseys now get stars on their shorts. Thats awesome!

That said, I fully expect Seattle to get one in the next year or two as well. They guaranteed reached the sales needed with the Hendrix kit to qualify for one.

Highly doubtful they get a third this year as jerseys get decided 2 years out. Entirely possible 2023-24 they get one.
