Thomas
I wanted to vote for the MLB all star game, but a tagline says : Vote a maximum of 35 times. wth, why can each person vote that many times ? I didn't even wanna vote after reading that, i am not going to vote more than once, and obviously my vote will have no meaning when others vote 30+ times. Believe NBA and NHL does the same ? Can anyone explain to me why they allow fans to vote more than once ?
MJWalker45
Because originally the only way to vote was to go to the stadiums and vote while you were at the game. If you went to every home game you could vote each time.
The_Admiral
I dunno, why are you allowed to register an account here 35 times space bar question mark? ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
rsaline
Plus with the old paper system, you could just grab a bunch, punch out the holes, and turn them in. Teams had fan contests to see who could do the most during a half-inning break. So if you think about it, the new online system actually limits votes per person. I don't get why I need to start voting in May, why not wait till we find out if players are actually good or just streaky?
