LMU
First of all, I just want to say that for the most part, I love the current Padres set. However, this concept represents the few changes that I would make. First of all, I have canned the unrelated, uninspired wave home plate primary. Replacing it is a modern twist of the logo we know and love:Now, here are the uniforms. My first main tweak was that I did away with the plain white script home hat. I really like the sand "SD," so I used that for both home and road, except that I added a sand bill for the home hats. The other change I made was that I wanted to add the light blue that was in the primary, but hardly anywhere in the uniforms, so I threw that in, but not so much as to look forced. Then, I used the "P" logo for the alternate cap, and I threw the Friar on the BP cap.
slapshot
The lighter blue seems very forced and out-of-place. Otherwise your designs are simple and clean, but not much different from what is currently being used. LMU
I was mainly trying to incorporate the friar. Otherwise, there really wasn't too much more that needed to be changed to them.
