Can anyone explain why, when I turn a GIF into a thumbnail, the edges of colors get real choppy and fuzzy? 'Preciate it. Yeah do that. -kj Posted June 18, 2003 Share Posted June 18, 2003 Because you're resizing a palette-based, 256-colour (8-bit) image, so it can only use the colours in the palette when it resizes. Do you have the originals? Or, do you have the ability to convert to a 16-bit image before you resize, then save it back out as a .gif? Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop!
