CaolinaJoe
Dave Bristol, no clue why you ask.It was a 2-0 win on July 22, 1971.Kerry spoke to Congress that day. "It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of thepress. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom ofspeech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given usthe freedom to demonstrate. And it is the soldier who salutes theflag, serves beneath the flag, whose coffin is draped by the flag, andwho allows the protester to burn the flag."Marine Chaplain Dennis Edward O' Brien
NoHoJoe
Dave Bristol is correct. July 22 1971...4 days before Pedro Martinez was born....And the reason I asked this question is because1. Yesterday was the first exhibiton game for the - Washington Gnationals. 2. the Milwaukee Brewers will be the first team to paly in a opposing team's stadium in both leagues.
