teenchy Posted May 6, 2005 Share Posted May 6, 2005 unless todd did the john deere one too, that is one hell of a rip off logo Aren't there rules about self-plagerism? -- I don't think a designer owns the rights to his own logos after he designs them for a company/team. Interesting point.... I had always thought the logo would be the property of the club or the league. Then again, there is that John Foggerty story where his record company sued him for composing a song that sounded close to another somg he wrote (???) Yes I was thinking that -- they ruled in Fogerty's favour saying he couldn't help sounding like himself.But this is a pretty obvious direct copy. Maybe Radom didn't even design this John Deere one.Very funny you mention Fogerty.
