Cyclopsis Joe Posted May 21, 2005 Share Posted May 21, 2005 Good ol' Afleet Alex made up for his disappointment at the Kentucky Derby by winning the Preakness Stakes today in Maryland.But, he almost didn't.Coming off of the final turn, then leader Scrappy T veered sharply to the right and "cut-off" Alex. Alex almost hit his knees but was able to get going again and win he whole thing.I bet on Scrappy T too..Sports Illustrated.com*Edit: When does not = Win..* I don't speak for democrats, democrats don't speak for me.
