slapshot
I've stated this in the other thread, but I believe after all that needs to be done to make New Orleans a safe and viable city, the evacuees will have established lives elsewhere.I really don't believe it will be able to support a major sports franchise any time soon. I think that was an inevitablity, regardless of the storm. The Saints have long been rumored to be relocated to Los Angeles (among other cities), and the Hornets move from Charlotte has not proven to be the success it was hoped to be. The Hornets have been rumored to be leaving New Orleans over the next few seasons as well. Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016
pflava
The Alamodome isn't up to NFL standards as far as amenities. And San Antonio is a relatively poor city, with little to no corporate presence. The NFL will not be putting a team there on a permanent basis. Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Sugar Bowl being played at Reliant Stadium in January. OMMF
And San Antonio is a relatively poor city, with little to no corporate presence. Well there has to be at least one. They got the rental car company to be the corporate sponsor for the stadium, right?*Waits for sarcasm to go undetected*
