Frylock Posted September 7, 2003 Share Posted September 7, 2003 First of all, I think the new Coyotes logo is excellent. Tasteful, and understated. Instant classic? No, probably not. But it certainly shouldn't look dated like their previous logo. Furthermore, the sweaters look very cool. I'm gonna miss those green alts, though...Anyhow, maybe I'm starting to crack, but I noticed something kind of peculiar about the new logo. I swear I see a bit of the old Jets logo in the way the coyote is positioned. Check this out...Does anyone else see a Winnipeg Jet formed by the coyote's right (our left) ear and its open mouth? ??? There are a lot of subtleties that the artsit was trying to pay homage to the Arizona region with (the four triangles on the nose, the three swoops under the neck) that have been mentioned in other articles.
