Why must teams slap a name on there when they have an otherwise perfectly workable logo?I'm right there with ya Mockba. Again, no thread highjacking intended here, but I had to beg, borrow, insist, plead, with a certain team not to have text on the alternate too. From their perspective, it was an obvious thing to do. Maybe cause so many of their contemporaries do it as well. I pointed out to them that only the random few NHL teams use text at all, and nobody puts it right under their logo explaining what it is. Ez Street Posted September 13, 2003 Share Posted September 13, 2003 i gotta say i like the jerseys, but the logo is old outdated and i don't think it fits the city well. that's just me, but that logo is very lame-ish.*smacks ez street with back of hand* all i gotta say is it's aged very well. whaddaya want for em, the new 'Jayz' crap? ::*smarting from being smacked*Well maybe i should elaborate. a MODERNIZATION would be nice. That logo didn't bother when they were in the IHL over 10 years ago. I just think that starting off in a new city and league, that you need to make the logo a little more hip.
