youcan'tseeme Posted December 17, 2005 Share Posted December 17, 2005 don't know if any of you saw this but the Hamilton Bulldogs and Toronto Marlies both wore CFl style hjersey hamilton the tiger-cats and totonto the argonauts does anyone have any pictures? hamilton was black while toronto was double blue? the hamilton ones actually had tiger-cats logos on the shoulders. TICATS VS. ARGOS, HOCKEY STYLE - THIS FRIDAY! When the Hamilton Bulldogs meet the Toronto Maple Leafs AHL Affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, in a home-and-home series on December 2 and December 3, both teams will be wearing specialty jerseys honouring the rivalry between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argonauts! The Bulldogs will be wearing yellow and black jerseys, while the Marlies will be donning double-blue jerseys. At Hamilton's home game on Friday, December 2 (7:30 p.m., Copps Coliseum), in addition to wearing Ti-Cat inspired jerseys, the Bulldogs will honour former and current Tiger-Cat and Argonaut players with a ceremony at centre ice prior to the game. Current Tiger-cat personnel that will be at the game include head coach Greg Marshall, linebacker Rob Hitchcock, and guard Ryan Donnelly. Ti-Cat alumni that are scheduled to attend include Angelo Mosca, Dave Marler, and Bob Richardson. Argonauts linebacker Mike O'Shea, wide receiver Andre Talbot, and running back Jeff Johnson will also be in attendance, as will former Argonauts Pete Martin, Peter Paquette, and Gerry Sternburg. "Friday will be a fun event for Hamilton sports fans and a way for them to show their support for two great organizations on one night," said Tiger-Cats head coach Greg Marshall. "Hamiltonians have always been great fans and proud followers of their local teams. We're looking forward to the game."Fans looking to take home a souvenir from the game can bid on jerseys autographed by Tiger-Cat and Argonaut representatives that will be in attendance through a silent auction.
