OMMF
I couldn't find this on the OHL site so I'm hoping someone here has the answer. Why do the majority of the first round series go 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 instead of the usual 2-2-1-1-1 or even the less occuring but still more prevalent 2-3-2? Does it have to do with distance? Tradition? I just find it odd that of the 3 leagues in the CHL, the O is the only one to do this.
CC97
I believe it depends on the distance between the two teams --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
Roger Clemente
The QMJHL has three different formats this year...Four series are 2-3-2Three of them are 2-2-1-1-1One of them is 2-3-1-1, and begins in the lower-seeded team's arena.Last year in the AHL, the Providence Bruins and Cincinnati Mighty Ducks played a series that was 3-3-1, with the first games 1, 2, 3 and 7 in Providence. Cincinnati won the series in 7, smiting the schedule makers.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. Follow me on Twitter if you care: @Animal_Clans.My opinion may or may not be the same as yours.
