clyon81
The criteria was that it needed to look almost exactly like the blue jays wordmark/logo/colors. I thought the logo I came up with stood alone pretty good, but I was wondering if anybody had some tips to improve upon it. Melenhead
It's a good start. You may want to tighten up some of your lines. Right now it looks too "liquidy". Add a few corners, especially to the beard and sunglasses.
clyon81
I understand what you are saying about the beard, but what do you mean by adding corners to the sunglasses? Play RBI Baseball 2K9 @ http://league.rbicentral.com
DDR
i think he means they sorta look like bug eyes now. add maybe a straight line across the top and then have it curve down like aviators would might work. aviators are a dirty man's sunglasses. i think he's right. its on its way to being a fun logo, it just needs some redefining......just curious: what's this for again? why was it mandated that it be blue jay colors? Melenhead
The sunglasses look too bug-eyed. I think if you could lessen the bulge on the ends, it would give your glasses more of a "dirty boys" look. I really dig the color scheme. Try adding some more white somewhere in there to really make some of the greys and blues jump out at you. I really think this is a fun logo to develop. There could even be some bling-bling added too (earring, nose ring, chain, etc...) Keep at it.
