One has to wonder... if Bonds does go to the American League for te designated hitter positoin..the only team that will have him is the New York Crapbum Yankees... that the only reason that we will see Bonds there next year.. unless Bonds suddenly retire after this year.... oh well..

post season/ws hr's count for career stats.

So I'd have to assume that Interleague would be treated the same way.

If they would, which the don't, Cal Ripken would have 171 games played in his 1983 stat line.

I always thought they did for career stats, but not for season stats. Seems kinda stupid they don't.

Color me embarrassed on that one. As much as I pretend I know about baseball...guess there's plenty more for me to learn.

No they won't. They will probably go out and get a good fielding First baseman and have Giambi be the DH.
