dfwabel
This morning's USA Today has a story with an additional table on D-1 football coaches total compensation (salaries, endorsements, and the like). For those who don't know, private schools do not have to necessarity disclose salaries, but they must tell the IRS who the 5 highest paid employees are. I do not think that Pat Fitzgerald is one of those top 5 at Northwestern, especially when they have top adacemic programs, plus the university president).USA Today story on compensation for football coachesThis may also have to do with the outgoing chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee writing the NCAA on why they think they still deserve tax-exempt status. OnWis97
I would guess that the highest paid government employee in the country is a college football coach. Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse." KevinMcD
I would guess that the highest paid government employee in the country is a college football coach. That is very possible if you are talking about Johnson at Navy. I know Bush only makes around $400,000/year.
