In the last few seconds of the second period, the Pens got a rush going, and Sid Crosby broke toward the net. He slipped and fell, sliding toward the net on his side - but while he was down he still managed to take Mark Recchi's feed and knock it home, sending the Pens into the intermission with a 1-1 tie and a minute-long standing "O" from the Mellon Arena crowd.
