Duke has different sets of colors for athletics and academics. It's academic colors are Duke Blue and White. Duke blue is closer to navy blue than Royal. It's athletic colors are Royal Blue and White (the ever-annoying black is not a school color...just an irritant).

Harvard's academic color is magenta; the doctoral robes and all hoods are a massive fuchsia wave every June. But the sports teams are crimson, black, and white.

Syracuse's academic color is orange (the academic hood inside is all orange), and for a while after the Orangemen/women change of nickname, much of the blue was taken out of the sports teams' uniforms (the men's lacrosse team, chiefly). But the blue did make a comeback.
