General Site Question: User Galleries

My apologies if this is one of those questions that's been asked a million times, but I didn't see it on the FAQ or anywhere else.

Anyway, I love seeing people's work, but I hate having to hunt through hundreds of thread to MAYBE find some of their representative work. Is there a way to have a user gallery where each user can collect the work they would like to share with everyone else? I've seen this with other forums, and I really like that feature.

heh, this is basically the only board I visit regularly, so I aint familiar with what you speak of, sounds like a good idea tho. a lot of folks here either have their own sites where you can see some/most of their work (i.e. you can click on my sig and there my site is...heh, I started remodeling a few months back, what with the new templates and all, so the selection aint what it used to be) or photobucket accounts that you can see publicly (I chose to keep mine private...even though it's mainly concepts. go figure.)
