Even though I've been a passionate advocate of sir Bruce and the boys that wore him on his helmet even back in the days when they sucked more than Heather Brooke AND Lil' Kim, I would always pull for my creamsicle cronies. In '96, we saw the development of something take hold (even though we finished just 5-11 that year), and the next year...we turned the corner, and--well, up until last year, ain't looked back since.So gon' ahead and support your Brew Crew...I am, from over here in Steeltown. (nd ain't it jsut the coolest thing that that squad has the sons of TWO baseball greats on it...Prince Fielder AND Tony Gwynn, Jr.? How can you NOT love that? Plus, with Ben Sheets throwing hard again and J.J. Hardy starting to show up...hey, this squad could be the Royals of two or three years ago...or even better yet, last year's Tigers!That's the only thing I see in your post...the rest just somehow faded into the background...
