STL FANATIC
A blatent guess, and I'm not actually sure if he resigned or was fired, or if it was even the year after, but George Karl. Probably was like 3 years after, but I figured I'd try. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
NJTank
Its not George Karl. It was not exactly labled a firing but this coach was forced outdue to a power struggle. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

NJTank
Like I said he was forced out due to a power struggle, so the answer is Phil Jackson following the 1998 Finals with the Bulls. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
STL FANATIC
Like I said he was forced out due to a power struggle, so the answer is Phil Jackson following the 1998 Finals with the Bulls.I always thought that was just a team destined to break up. Jackson was ready to move on, Jordan was to move on if he did, Pippen if Jordan...Why was Jackson forced out? That dynasty could have actually lasted longer? NJTank
Jerry Krause wnated to break the team up. If Krause and Residorff wanted to keep it togther they could have, but Krause did not want to go into a prolonged slump like the Celtics who he felt were too loyal to the Bird and McHale teams. Irronic its been 6 years now and the Bulls have not even come close to looking good I guess his plan for rebuilding quickly didn't work out. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
