yh Posted February 14, 2003 Share Posted February 14, 2003 I know the Hawks played the Bulls at the Georgia Dome a few years ago, during Jordan's last title run and they had something like 60,000 in attendance for that game, so that's my answer. I think the largest capacity "permanent" arena (not a temporary facility like the Silverdome, Alamodome, etc) was the Charlotte Colliseum which held close to 25,000. NJTank Posted February 15, 2003 Author Share Posted February 15, 2003 Bob Sqwad is correeect the Silverdowem routinely had crowds of over 50,000 for big events like the 1988 NBAS FInasl and Dr. J's Motor CIty farewell where they drea a regualr seaosn record 52,745.
