For everyone who wants more team color diversity in baseball, this is a classic example of a step that should be made.It's not just the Padres, though they're perhaps the most egregious example. Nobody currently sells accurate Milwaukee Braves or 1970-1977 Brewers caps. The Brooklyn Dodgers logo that appears on virtually all MLB merchandise is an inaccurate copy of a logo they wore for part of one season. And at least half the Yankees Cooperstown Collection merchandise has a bad logo on it.Unfortunately, once those errors get into the style guide, we help perpetuate them here on this site. And Wikipedia uses this site as an authoritative source, which further spreads the error.Mitchell & Ness used to get it right, but they long ago traded historical accuracy for hip n' trendy.
